I do, his writing often seemed as if it was on acid, giving the reader a glimpse into the effects.

I agree with Diane and would add that reading this was like being sober and watching the antics of those drunk around, sometimes funny and sometimes incredibly dull

Yes, I think so, and I think my reaction is similar to how I felt back in the sixties. I am pretty much the same. I was incredibly wishing I was anywhere but on the bus.
