Oprah's Book Club (Official) discussion

Hello all!

I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Mukuka Chipanta an Aerospace Engineer and new Author. I live in the Washington DC area with my wife Sandra. I recently published the novel "A Casualty of Power" with Weaver Press. I've been pleased by the reception. It's a fictional tale about the clash of cultures occurring in modern day Africa as China expands its influence on the continent. So far people who have read it say that it is entertaining and written with empathy for all the stakeholders. Please check it out.
I have a lot to learn about the book industry, especially when it comes to getting the word out to the right people. I'd love to learn from all of you esteemed book lovers.
