Pink | 5491 comments I'm glad you've decided to join our challenge Mike, it all looks good to me!

You've got some great books on your list and a few I'll be attempting myself in 2017 (The Three Musketeers, To the Lighthouse, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn) I read The Sisters Brothers a couple of years ago and was very pleasantly surprised by it, so I hope you enjoy it too. Good luck with all of your choices :)

Thanks Pink. I'm not too sure about The Sisters Brothers (alternate), but it's been on my TBR list for some time. Good luck to you as well.

Pretty excited. I can't think of many better story-tellers than Dickens. Thanks.

Thanks Melanti. It's a pretty daunting list for my schedule, but who doesn't love a good challenge?

Terris | 4387 comments Nice list, Mike! I've read your first nine & enjoyed them all. I haven't read any of your 10-14! Although, Out of Africa is on my challenge list for 2017. Have fun :)

message 13: by Renee (new)

Renee | 727 comments Great list Mike! I'm also planning on reading The Three Musketeers, A Tale of Two Cities, and To the Lighthouse next year. I love Agatha Christie, but for some reason, I haven't read Murder on the Orient Express yet and need to get around to it.

I hope you enjoy reading them all and have fun with the challenge :)

I like the name Terris. As you can see, my grad studies have put me a little behind on the classics. :)

Hey Renee! Sounds like we will be working through some of the same stuff. My favorite Christie is And Then There Were None. If you haven't already, check it out. Good luck on the challenge.

message 22: by Mike (new)

Mike (nmpreach) Hey Pink! Overall, I enjoyed the book. Although I found myself frustrated at times with the author, it's a book I would recommend. If interested, here's the link to my review.
