This is super exciting!!! My first round of BSB. I feel like a kid waiting on Xmas.

Ohhh! I love making a list. And then totally going off tangent when something else catches my eye. I do solemnly swear that I will not try to make In Death fit every shelf. Darn! I guess I will have to do that since I put it in writing!

In Death is a wonderful series. I hooked someone on it recently and they've done nothing but thank me :)

There is no doubt In Death can fit any shelf!! :-D. That sounds almost like a challenge within a challenge - can one read only In Death series during Bingo? Not sure I could commit to that but it's fun to think about!

You'd love it and they are all available in the library, so you don't even have to spend money to buy them. They are quick reads too, so don't let the number of books in the series scare you off. It is a wonderful series.

So I got a little carried away with In Death. I'm only like 20 years behind.

This is one series I stay up to date on...I usually read the new book on release day (Feb, Sept with short story in Oct most usually). Though now that I think about it, I don't remember a short story in October. Off to research.

I just started reading them this year. I had refused to start because if the number of books involved. Well, I fell in love after the first book. I need to print out the order with novellas so that I can stay on task.

First novella is Midnight in Death and takes place after Holiday in Death. Second one is Interlude in Death, which was published after Betrayal in Death, but in my opinion takes place before Betrayal in Death (view spoiler)[There is no way that Roarke would run off to Olympus after Mick was killed and before his wake/funeral and then after the events in Interlude, take Mick's body to Ireland. (hide spoiler)]

Why can't it be time to start yet? I'm so excited...time seems to be passing so SSSSLLLLOOOOWWWWLLLLYYYY.

Well, christmas & new year might have something to do with it. LOL

I don't celebrate either; maybe that's the problem.

Well, for me it is getting together with family & friends.

Tomorrow is last day of signups. Then we get assigned to teams. Then we meet everyone, pick a name and a captain. Then bingo starts and we all have fun!!!!

I know that I'm just a big kid but I can't help it. I tend to get very excited about things that make me happy.

We all need a wee bit of happy now and then. So looking forward to Bingo starting :)

I was missing some sort of team challenge. Hopefully my classes won't keep me from being able to keep up with this.

Ah the New Year is already off to a great start. We have BINGO!!! :D

I think it's time to start hunting through the lists!! And then make a selection of possible reads, which I will then most likely completely ignore once Bingo actually starts ;-)

Haha nope, not at all, Nichole! It's good fun, really, and passes the time very well when it's quiet at the office like today ;-)

Eldarwen I do the same thing every single round I play. I will also be doing it at the quiet office today where 60% of staff is out.

Going through the lists makes me feel productive in the game while impatiently waiting for it to start.

I've done that too --- make a list, then ignore it. But, it's nice to have a quick reference when I don't always have time to scour the shelf.

Let the list making begin! :D

Mine's done! And has surprisingly many books on it that were on my list for R13 as well.. hmm..... ;-)

Hi Everyone!

I'm looking forward to this challenge! This is my first group challenge in SOS, so I'm really excited about it! I needed another team challenge to start the New Year! I was so busy in December that I spent most of my book time wandering in the dark trying to decide which book to read! LOL!

Welcome Becky! Thrilled to have ya join us for bingo. I know you'll enjoy it! :D

I tried the list making thing. Went to the first shelf and ended up with over 40 books. Decided that this wasn't going to be helpful so stopped.

I really just look until I see a few viable options for each shelf. I get most of my books through the library so I need to see what I should be putting on hold.
