Your job, should you choose to accept it, will require a few things:
1 ~ Be our go-to person should we have any questions about your team
2 ~ Organize your teammate's weekly reads for each shelf/category so that the BSB Ninjas can quickly and easily verify and approve your stamp request(s)
2a ~ Create a master list in a post (preferably on the first page of your team's thread) and update it weekly or as often as necessary
3 ~ Encourage and motivate your team (you may also ask to borrow Judithe's whip whenever necessary)
4 ~ Post regularly to ensure your team is communicating and on track each week
4a ~ Send them a PM and friendly poke if they haven't posted at least once a week, noted their book choice, and/or appear to have dropped out of webspace
5 ~ Send us a PM (Steph, Sandra or Judithe) should you need us for any reason throughout the game

Hi All!! Just catching up from all the holidays! Excited to be started. I see we are Team #13! Hoping that is not a bad sign. LOL!!

I've been captain in the past but would prefer not to be this round mainly due to my workload. But if anyone really has a desire to be it, I would be happy to assist in the beginning. Also you should post a couple of messages (I would do 4 to be safe) to save space for the book update summaries.

I don't mind being captain if everyone else is ok with it. I've only played one round but I think I can handle it.

So tell me about yourselves! I am 30 and live in southeast Texas. I'm married, and we have no kids but two dogs and a kitty cat. I'm a nurse and work in surgery. I loooove to read :)

I'm 40 and currently live in the middle of nowhere, otherwise known as White Cloud, Michigan. My husband and I are originally from Chicago but moved up here to help my mom because she has some health issues. We don't have any kids but we have three dogs and two cats. I'm a veterinary technician by day and a voracious reader by night, lol. I also work part time at my local library. If I'm not working, reading or playing with my fur kids chances are I'm watching hockey. :)

I'm 40 also, birthday was in November. I'm single with no children and live in Memphis. I work for the State and rarely go anywhere without my kindle. Saw this challenge and thought it looked fun. Can't wait to get started.

So any ideas for a team name?? I like The Bookiest Nerds or Reading Queens. What are you guys suggestions?

I'm 50 something and live also in Michigan! But I am in Ypsilanti which is about an hour west of Detroit and nearby neighbor of Ann Arbor. I'm an environmental engineer mainly doing water and wastewater treatment plants for communities. I'm currently working on a kitchen remodeling project which will start hopefully in February and I recently started a fitness class 3x a week. In my "spare" time I love to read and I've converted to listening to audiobooks to get more reading time in.

I like the Reading Queens. I think we could do a fun image for that one as well.

I'm going to read Magic Strikes. It's the third in the Kate Daniels series and that is found on the SOS Best of Urban Fantasy Series List

Love that series. One of my all time favorites.

I haven't given it much thought, I'm more of a spur of the moment type reader.

I'll probably wait until the first shelf is called then make my decision. Just a few more days ladies!!!

Hello ladies! I know I said I was going to wait until the first shelf call before I decided which Free Space book to read, but I changed my mind! I'm going to read Moonshadow by Thea Harrison. It is the January book of the month. My sister is playing this round on another team and we are both going to read it together :)

So I have been reading the Black Dagger Brotherhood books recently. I am on the fifth one I think. I haven't started it yet because I've been waiting to see what the first shelf call is. I just found it on there. Even though it is marked as my currently reading, can I use it as my book for the hunters shelf?

I'm here! It has just been a heck of a week. But I did start MacRieve for the Free Space book (It is part of the Immortals After Dark Series, which is on the PNR List of the Best of List.)

And for the Hunters shelf, I will listen to Pleasure of a Dark Prince.
