Do you lose track of the story if you don't read it for a few days?

Presently, I'm reading two books. One in the evening, and other in the morning when I get. Since they're not broken up by days, I'm still on track. I've read 4 books at a time. Some books get boring and I pick up another. That of course is when I'm on a reading frenzy. I can't get enough in. Once that's over, I don't read but one at a time. The other thing is, I may not read a book for some time, because I'm involved in writing a story. That's reading all day.

I also read several books at the same time, although to be fair, it"s more like an onion.... I start book 1, start book 2, start book 3, start book 4 - finish book 4, finish 3, finish 2, finish 1. At least most of the time. It depends on my mood.

I never read more than one book at once and I always found it odd that someone would, only because I could never see myself doing it. Although, lately I've been listening to audiobooks as well as reading a book when I get the chance. I suppose that means I do have the capacity. :P

Me too -:)
And do you read multiple books concurrently? Right now I just finished the 4th book on my currently-reading list. So, that's 3 left and one is a manga series, so really only 2, which i more manageable. It's hard to make time to keep up with the storyline in 3 text-based books.
How about you?
