Ignite Me (Shatter Me #3) by Tahereh Mafi

The heart-stopping conclusion to the New York Times bestselling Shatter Me series, which Ransom Riggs, bestselling author of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, called “a thrilling, high-stakes saga of self-discovery and forbidden love.”

With Omega Point destroyed, Juliette doesn’t know if the rebels, her friends, or even Adam are alive. But that won’t keep her from trying to take down The Reestablishment once and for all. Now she must rely on Warner, the handsome commander of Sector 45. The one person she never thought she could trust. The same person who saved her life. He promises to help Juliette master her powers and save their dying world . . . but that’s not all he wants with her.

The Shatter Me series is perfect for fans who crave action-packed young adult novels with tantalizing romance like Divergent by Veronica Roth, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, and Legend by Marie Lu. Tahereh Mafi has created a captivating and original story that combines the best of dystopian and paranormal, and was praised by Publishers Weekly as “a gripping read from an author who’s not afraid to take risks.” Now this final book brings the series to a shocking and satisfying end.

LOVED this book! I wanted a longer ending but I was pretty happy that Anderson was finally dead. I liked both Warner and Adam but I'm happy she ended up with Warner. I think they will be better for each other. I REALLY wished we got to see some funny awkward brotherly moments with Warner getting to know Adam and James. I was just dying for that! But I loved all the chapters with Warner and Juliette! I seriously re-read chapter 55 a billion times.

Fifth Horseman (fifthhorseman) Am I the only one who laughed like an evil maniac when Juliette ended up with Warner?

Huzzah!

I had a feeling she would end up with Warner but when it happened I also had an evil laugh inside! Like yes!

Zoey | 27 comments This book was beautiful, and I was really happy when she ended up with Warner. I guessed from the start, especially when the novella of his story came out. It was an amazing read.

Joanna Refugio (jhoskiee) | 2 comments This is the 1st book series that ive read. And im so happy because i finished this book with a wide smile on my face because duh? Juliette end up with Aaron Anderson Warner. And i really really love Warner. This book is awesome :D

I didn't like him either, but there's a lot of things not said about Warner in the first book.

Yeah trust us! There is a lot we don't know about Warner in the first book. Big changes and reveals in the next two books. Chapter 62 in the second book changes things. Then holy guacamole chapter 55 in the third book :-D

Okay, I trust you lol! I'm gonna get the other two books :)

Jacqueline Buan (jackiesbookcorner) | 132 comments I seriously loved this book. I usually don't do well with mega plot twists and love triangles (technically there wasn't one, but still) but I just didn't care- this book made it worth it, it was incredible! I wish the ending wasn't so rushed though.

Jacky (booklovingjacky) I didn't like it soo much, to be honest. I think most parts were quite boring and I thought the happy ending was a little too obvious, because a lot of things happen in the last 30 pages so it was clear that there couldn't be a plot twist anymore. ...

And I've always loved Adam. Don't get me wrong, I love Warner as well and I'm glad Juliette ended up with him and that he makes her happy. But Adam is not a bad guy either. I wish there was a happier ending for him. I think he really thought he loved Juliette.

Kyla Gergely (kygergely) | 12 comments LOVED this book! I think Juliette and Warner belong together (now). I wasn't sure in the beginning but once you learn more and more of who he really is, I can't believe she was ever with anyone else. I think her and Adam's situation was exactly what was pointed out, that he was the only one who showed her any kindness and they both fell in love because of that. They didn't know who she really was at first, and now that she has come out of her shell, she isn't the same. I think that, though there were so many sad moments, the good moments outweighed it all. Though, I am a little disappointed with the ending. I mean, yes good guys won and bad guys lost, but it felt like it was too easy in the end. But maybe that is just my thoughts. I really want to know where this story goes, versus just leaving it this way.

Jacky (booklovingjacky) @Kyla yes, I agree with you about the ending...

Maria | 4 comments I'm reading it right now. Loving it so far! I started it today and I'll probably finish by tomorrow. This series was amazing. <4

Sabrina Glowacki | 4 comments I loved this book! I wanted Juliet to end up with Warner since the beginning, so I really liked enjoyed the book. I also loved Kenji in this book.

Julia Miller (technofox) | 2 comments **SPOLIERS** Don't read if your not done.

I loved this so much. I wonder what happens next though. I was very alarmed when @ the begging it said that everyone was dead, but i had a feeling it wasn't true. I just wish there hadn't been as many pages of Warner and Juliette making out and a little more action.

Cheryl L | 36 comments This book is one of my favorites! Kenji was hilarious, and I was so happy Juliette and Warner ended up together! :) However, I think the part about them fighting Anderson was too short. And i wish she had given us some sort of epilogue, so we know what happens 5 years later or something along those lines. There are some questions I would like to ask...who was the blond hair guy Anderson used as a weapon? The one who could make pressure waves or something like that? Juliette thought he looked familiar....and also, what drastic thing did Warner have to do so as to take over Sector 45?

Kyla Gergely (kygergely) | 12 comments Cheryl I completely and totally agree about wanting things resolved.

Erica (ericabookaholicbutterfly) | 1 comments Kenji made this whole series now that this is wrapped up I need a spin off or companion novel that's all about Kenji!

Jessica | 3 comments This is probably the only romance book that I've read where the girl doesn't end up with the love interest from the beginning of the series. I wish we could find out more about what happens with both the plot and the relationship.
I know that this is kind of random, but when I first read about Warner, I pictured him as the Governor from the Walking Dead, which was a really big turn off. I really hope they make a movie out of this because I want to see who they would cast to play these roles.

Tracey (addicted_to_reading) I disliked this book greatly. I really liked the first book when I read it 2 years ago but the rest of the series didn't sit well with me. The ending was too happy for me but I was just glad it was over.

Lirae (asecondbornsister) I always wanted her to end up with Warner (it stays weird to call him Aaron, no?)
