Silas stepped into this nightmare when his daughter was first arrested and it snowballed from there. Do you think he had any options? Was his behavior understandable?

Poor Silas. As a parent you do everything to protect your kids and then she is dragged into a situation that will ruin her life and maybe get her killed. Make a deal with the Devil or see your child ruined. Not a choice I would want to make. Yeah, his behavior was understandable.

I think Silas did have options, but after he made his choice, he was committed/trapped.
