A Question to the Librarians Out There...

I also know a few that did theirs through the University of Wisconsin (also online). I think they did have to go somewhere to take a test...but I think you can go to pretty much any university's campus, you just need a proctor to monitor you (I think).

Well, in any case, I know you get do it from the University of Wisconsin, but I've never looked into it.

I´ll take a look at Wisconsin

Oh.. but some things require in-class experience... and the examinations too :("
well the people I know that did that just had to have a proctor from a different university take the test.
Who knows, when you've found a program you think its pretty flexible the easiest thing is probably just to call them.

Yeah, maybe´ll try the phone. Probably I´ll hear a big and fat NO, but, who know? lol

Also, my university's library has a list of on-line programs... the prices may not be up-to-date, but at least it gives you a starting place so you know what options there are.

I graduated from San Diego State University May 2007 with a BA in Social Science for Single-Subject Teaching, decided not to pursue my teaching credentials for various reasons and over the past few years have thought about getting my Masters in Library Science. There are not any accredited colleges in my area, so my only option is doing the whole program online. It's been awhile since I've researched this out, but I thought I would ask all you wonderful librarians out there for any advice.
Thank You in advance!
