Since you were so wonderfully helpful with my last question... Please can you tell me how I get less feeds/updates from a Goodreads friend without offending them? Do I have a 'follow' button ticked or something?

We'd recommend setting your feed to show "Top Friends" only. Once you've done this, you can visit your Friends page and click on the "edit friends" link at the top. You can then use the checkbox next to each name to select who you'd like to include under this umbrella.
