An Unknown island with unknown monsters and life.

Noto was walking around looking for what he was going to make into a shelter. He didn't seem to realize or care that he walked past someone that was there. Noto had thing on his mind that made him not notice her or care at the moment.

Sel blinked. That was so unlike her. She looked over to see a human. She narrowed her eyes. "Who. Are. You." Her threatening words sounded twisted in her high voice. She closed her eyes for a second before opening them up again. Only this time, her normal pink eyes were red. "What is your name. Tell me if you want to live, because you obviously aren't fully innocent..."
((Forgot to mention this in her profile! Sel can see things other than your kill count, and this helps her determine whether to kill or hurt them or not.))

Noto heard some voices and turned around and quietly walked over. He jumped up into a tree to watch them from a distance and he was on guard. He was ready at any moment to attack them. ((She must know that Noto has a very high kill count))

VGA (themonarchofmusic) | 30 comments "You..." Sel started laughing. She laughed and laughed hysterically, verging on insane, before suddenly calming down in an instant. "I'd like to see you try." She no longer cared about mercy. Sparing him? No. He'd receive her full punishment. She looked at Siren, staring into his eyes, before activating Retribution, not a shred of mercy. Retribution was a torturous pain, and even those who were able to withstand almost any pain would scream in agony. After all, Retribution wasn't a physical pain. It was a mental pain. One that could kill you.

This was bad.
Sel was going truly insane.
She was forgetting her judge vow.
"I o n L y w a n T t o k I l L n o W," Sel said with a demonic tone, echoing the narrator's thoughts.
"You see, mister... I'm not a child. Hehe... I ' v e k i l l e d m o r e t h e n y o u c o u l d i m a g i n e... People stronger than you... who begged for mercy?" Sel giggled innocently. "Those who kill don't deserve mercy!"

It was a cool evening, the glittering stars were beginning to faintly emerge from their day of rest and the sun had been lowering itself to the horizon just over the seas surrounding the small island. Despite being within the waning hours of the day the island still hummed with life, calls of animals both haunting and beautiful echoed through the trees and foliage and the quiet sound of the tide hitting the shore could be heard from nearly anywhere on the small speck in the sea.

Ambrosine aimlessly wandered the mysterious landmass. Form her life she had been in many places all around the 49 realms, yet this island was unknown to even her who had seen all the world had to offer. She did not walk as the living, but instead, her feet were suspended mere inches above the ground leaving the verdant emerald fields of grass untouched and all the leaves of low plants unrustled. She emitted a feeble eerie glow, ethereal, yet also vaguely ominous. She was clad in garments of deep, rich crimson like the petals of a poppy, with black as dark as the very depths of the abyss all accented with the finest gold thread any king or queen could ever hope to possess. Her clothing all appeared to be woven from silk in exclusion to the black iron gorget rimmed with real gold.

All was to be found a sham in the end, she was simply the glorified image of herself in the past, an image of her at her peak in fine clothes that had never existed let alone been owned by Ambrosine, but it was all she had and so she wore them everywhere. The clothes seemed to flow in the breeze, yet another feature of them that made them quite lovely, despite being intangible they acted tangible, but if anything it was simply a cruel joke for Ambrosine herself could not touch anything with her own hands.

With her came a melody, the faint sound of music as though a music box was being played nearby, yet no one was near enough to be playing one. It simply echoed through the empty space around her as she drifted down a long winding pathway stopping every so often to examine interesting plants and animals with her amber eyes. Uniquely her eyes seemed to burn, as though a fierce fire was burning behind the amber glass giving her a stare that could either fill a heart with comfort or warmth or burn away confidence and replace it with fear.

For Ambrosine the time of day meant nothing, she had no need for sleep or sustenance thus she could roam the world without fear of consequence or concerns of time, she had the rest of existence to learn the stories all there was in the world. In a sense, she felt drawn to the island, like herself there was very little truly known about it, only stories and tales were known and whilst she pondered the possibility of it being unusual to empathise with an island the thought was fleeting for she was halted by the sight of a large and beautiful flower on the side of the path. She floated closer, extending her long delicate fingers to touch it, but instead opting to form a cup-like shape with her hands, enveloping the flower. She imagined what the petals felt like, the soft smooth surface, yet the brittleness of them when bent. As her fingers grazed it she felt nothing, they simply went through the pallid pink plant, but she could understand how it felt deep down.

She knelt down, seemingly fully on the ground, just staring intently at the flower. The act in itself was peculiar, but with all the time in the world, Ambrosine was setting some of it aside to simply appreciate the most minute details of life, or rather death in her case.

While remaining unaware of the luminous presense of Ambrosine, Freya held her arms towards the plants. Her intentions remaining unclear, until, the hand hovering a mere centimeter from the plant began to immediately wither. Its once glorious green stems-fading into a lifeless thread of ash. All the while the girls unremarkable red eyes were closed shut, as she tried to remain calm and confident. But how could one cope so flamboyantly to the life that death takes away, and so easily as well? It simple wasnt done, which explains while the girls figure began to aimlessly shiver. The long exubrent length of her silvery hair brushed against the exposed area of her ankles. Revealing her milky petite feet digging into the land of ash, coming to the conclusion that she retired from wearing shoes long ago.

She refused to weep in despair. Her intentions to leave the safety of her isolated cottage near the abyss, were only to gather energy for herself, for if she abandoned it she would find herself in the sentence lf what she feared most. Death. How ironic was it that this child was cursed with employing death, only to be afraid of dying.

((Alright, thank you))

Ambrosine had been perfectly still, her brilliant gold gaze, not once having lifted from the fair pink flower, but she had been shaken from her concentration by an unusual feeling. An unnatural feeling of ice cold crept up her spine. After a great many years she had learnt that no such things truly happened to the deceased unless it was the influence of the spiritual planes, a matter of life and death within the nearby area. Life was warm yet death chilled. Ambrosine rose, steadily rotating, attempting to find the source of the unsettling yet familiar feeling.

She surveyed the area with her bright amber eyes and as they moved across the scenery she spotted a single irregularity, a glint of silver just beyond a stretch of trees and shrubbery, platinum ring left in the grass. Ambrosine drifted effortlessly through the air, her hair floating in raven strands behind her, flowing lazily as though she were moving through water. Within moments, she hovered over the withered bush, her luminous form illuminating the face of the small girl who stood before her. Her hair fell slowly, resting normally once again.

Ambrosine's piercing eyes softened upon the sight of the mere child who seemed to emanate the very chilling aura of death. It was faint, Ambrosine felt it to be what most would dismiss as more a cool breeze than an icy presence. Nevertheless, this girl appeared to be pursued by death, the irony of being found by Ambrosine, the supposed immortal who in spite of her supposed immortality still faced death, seemed nothing short of a mockery. She silently stayed where she was, looking down at the girl waiting for her to notice her as not to ruin her train of thought.

"The Unknown Island..." Celina muttered as she scrawled the words mindlessly into a notebook that she held in her hands. Her dark eyes were intensely focused on the notebook as she scribbled away little notes about what she had seen on her trip. The author found herself sitting down on the trunk of a fallen tree. She paid no attention to her surroundings dropping her bags down beside her with a heavy thud. Despite the many potential dangers of the island she was entirely engrossed in the world-building of her latest novel. The longer she spent exploring the island the more she knew that it was undoubtedly going to become a part of her book. She only paused her ceaseless writing to push a stray lock of long black off her face, not at all aware of the predators that prowled throughout the wilderness around her.

A dark raven flew above, perching itself on a low tree branch. A girl materialized below it, landing on the ground with a soft thud. She nodded to the bird, holding her arm out for it. It flew down, setting itself comfortably on her shoulder. She pulled her large pink scarf tighter around her body and sighed softly. She didn't remember this realm being so cold. But then again it had been ages since she'd last been to this realm. Jezebel sat on the sand, spreading her legs out and yawned softly, enjoying the feeling of the hot sand against her legs.

"It's rather beautiful out here today, isn't it James? Finally some peace and quiet." Her raven, James, squawked in response. Jez reached over, picking up a small shrimp, trying to crawl it's way back to the water by its tail and held it up to her bird. It tilted its head, studying the wriggling crustacean and began to peck away at it, taking his fair share before giving the other half to Jez. She cooked it with a small flare from her finger and bit into its juicy meat, enjoying her meal.

Obito wandered the forest for a bit before finding a a rock to sit upon. Taking a rest from his journey, still in his tattered robe, he looked around noticing the beauty of the forest and the evil that also lies with in it. Hearing the birds chirp as the fly above and one circled around him, he extended his finger allowing the bird to rest upon after its flight "You don't really have to worry about anything huh?" Obito kind of questioned the bird then looked up at the sky through the trees with his one eye.

The Goddess of Mythical Creation hid between the trees of the Unknown Island. Surely, she would have considered visiting the Island on better terms. But under certain circumstances she couldn't possibly, it was much to difficult to bear, as her creations were dying off one by one. Nor could she just nochanlantly stand by while the God of Destruction was slowly being awoken as each day passed. Her sigh intensified as she leaned onto the bark of a withering tree, how she had missed when everything was balanced. Now, it was simple just hell, and though she refused to curse out loud, she could dream of doing it fluently. She had a mission she simply couldn't forget, and she had to save them. Those innocent children marked with destruction.

Celina's pen soared across the pages in the book, recording all the peculiar things that she had seen while exploring the island. The more she wrote down the more it came together in her head. A protagonist with a dark past washes ashore, his memories carried away by the tide. This island was the perfect setting, though thus far she had only seen the pleasant things. Small birds, vibrantly coloured bugs and elegant herbivores. If this was all the island had then here was sure to be no conflict and her novel would fall flat. Her hand slowed to a halt as she jotted down her last period.

Celina sighed, placing down her pen next to her leg on the log. "This is why you should always research an island before you take an expedition to it... It's the one time you'll ever be disappointed by the lack of man-eating wildebeests..." She muttered to herself tiredly as she pulled out a twine bound package neatly boxed meals. She delicately undid the twine and opened up the top box. Smoked salmon with a side of herbs and rice. Certainly not most people's idea of a hiking snack, but with a few enchantments from the elves, it becomes a surprisingly viable option. Decidedly bored, she quietly ate her food still blissfully unaware of her surroundings.

Jez sniffed the air, smelling the delicious salmon. She stood up from where she sat and made her way over to wherever the delicious aroma was coming from. By a fallen tree, sat a girl, her attention directed towards her food. She climbed a nearby tree herself, sitting on a high branch with her back against the tree branch, watching the girl quietly. Jezebel wasn't one for interacting with other people. It just wasn't her forte. She never knew how to converse with other people but I suppose that's what happens when you get raised in isolation. She had other things to worry about anyway. Jez reached her arm out, spotting a beautiful red fruit hanging from a higher branch and began to reach for it. Just as her fingers closed around the fruit, her balance faltered and she tumbled to the ground, a pile of soft leaves softening her fall, directly in front of the other girl.

Obito was soon surrounded by birds, deer and a fox when he smelled the cooked salmon. Using his Sharingan he scanned the area seeing two individuals near each other but it didn't seem to bother him. So Obito ignored their existence and remained petting animals and enjoying nature as it was peace he had never seen before. He was surprised this existed through how much pain he saw in the world claiming he never would see such peace.

Amaterasu lifted her head to the vaguely familiar scent of cooked salmon, she never had such a delicious meat. Though in her somewhat youth she remembered nearly choking on the scent, finding her nose unable to stand the questionable misleading creature. How could such a water dwelling animal maintain a smell sometimes undesirable? Her smile grew, it was wonderful how the soft wind carried the wisps of the cooked meal through the island. Oh, then that must mean there were others in the island. That was certainly wonderful news! Her hands clapped together in the amazement that others were here as well, truly unknown the island was. An innocent but purely divine giggle escaped the Goddesses lips, drawing a clear amount of attention from the peaceful creatures that were already curiously following her every move.

Celina shot up to her feet as a figure seemingly dropped from the sky in front of her. With her violet eyes as wide as satellite dishes she watched the figure with bated breath. She had dropped the food which had miraculously landed upright, with not a single bite's worth hitting the ground. Her hands were brought up close to her defensively, though anyone could tell by her stance that Celina was by no means a fighter.

It took a moment, but she quickly realised that the figure was just a girl. Based on appearances, she was younger than Celina no doubt and seeing her on the ground roused a feeling of maternal protectiveness. Celina let her breath escape her lips and quickly extended her hand out to the young woman. "Are you alright? What in the world were you doing that caused you to fall like that?" She quickly questioned in a panicked tone. "Do you need any help, are you hurt?" She asked persistently, offering any aid she could think of.

Jezebel backed up, cursing herself for being so clumsy. It had been a long time since she had interacted with almost anybody. She had been stuck in Hell for far too long and had only been released on probation. Jez felt a sharp pain in her ankle, probably from her fall but she ignored it and stood up wincing. The tiny black bird on her shoulder squawked.

"Oh shut up, James. If you helped me with that damned fruit, we wouldn't be stuck in this situation in the first place," She snapped at the bird in annoyance. Her voice was soft and feminine which suited her appearance but not her words. Jez looked up to see the face of a woman much older than she was. The woman radiated a motherly feel and Jez couldn't bring herself to give her the usual sass she gave most people. She almost reminded her of her own mother. "O-oh it's nothing. I was just reaching for the fruit up there but the branch was flimsy. I don't think it could support my weight." Almost as if on cue, the branch snapped, landing on her head. She growled at the tree softly as the bird frantically squawked. God that idiotic bird was no help. Jez shoved it off of her and winced looking at her ankle. It was covered in a large bluish bruise. Wasn't that just lovely?

Obito continued to be surrounded by animals which made him smile a little bit. He wished all things could be as peaceful as this but he knew that would never be the case. So of course he was going to change that by any means necessary and then he heard the snap of the tree branch from the two he saw earlier echoing through out the forest but he didnt seem to pay them no mind. Petting the small fox that had rested upon his lap, the wind blew his long spiky black hair.

Amaterasu paused half walk as she turned to gaze toward her own flock of curiously beautiful animals. The goddess smiled warmly at them, they would come to no harm in her good graces. At her smile they ran toward the goddess, nearly dropping her as she welcomed them into her arms. Her harmonious laugh echoed through the Island, truly she hadn't expected such perfectly behaved animals to wander here. Rough tongues licked her face, or sniffed her scent, some more ticklish then others earned another laugh, as her smile grew more motherly. Her sugary sweet voice cooing at the creatures to behave, but they all seemed so eager to play. With a shrug of her shoulders, she tossed glossy black hair over her shoulder. "Alright, you win." She said with a fake pout toward the creatures, before she stood from her near funeral of love. Her form began to alter, as the beautiful goddess transformed into a stunningly creature, her wings shaking, as if never been used for years. This creature she had failed to create, as despite every mythical she made, she couldn't trust anyone with it's delicate and pure beauty. The mythical was clearly a mixture between a unicorn and a Pegasus. It was the only one she decided to make, those who've seen it always failed to remember it, as it was just too much for the naked eye. As well as hiding the form of the Goddess herself.
