In past towers there has been a seperate thread for posting completed books. It was asked in the captain's chat thread but no answer yet. Mods are busy gettting the challenge ready for us. As soon as we know we will let you all know.

TOWERS COUNTDOWN

Yay! So exciting! I hope everyone has a great start to their week and collected some fun books to start Towers with! It's encouraging for me to read alongside other avid readers :)

In honor of the theme and Mystery and Thriller week, I will be starting Towers with The Circle, obviously, as well as...

I just put Lilac Girls on hold at my local library. I 'm 8th in queue.

I just checked the list and couldn't believe I read 10 on the list.

I want to do the buddy read for salt to the sea my library had a copy available!!

Me too Romina! I probably wouldn't have picked this one up on my own. But just started and I'm enjoying it as well. Just found out that it was just released as a movie with Tom Hanks and Emma Watson! More encouragement to read it first!

Yeah I heard about the movie yesterday and I can't wait to see it after I read the book!

Alissa & MelanieJoy - Would next Friday (5/12) be too late to start? I've got a business trip next Mon-Thurs, and the hardback book is a bit too large for me to take along. I'm excited to read Salt to the Sea! I've owned it for a few months and have been wanting to get to it...

The only reason I have a plan is because I am involved in another challenge that ends 5/31, so I have prompts to finish for it. :/

Brooke, 5/12 works perfectly for me. Actually, I may start 5/15 since that's Mother's Day weekend and I won't read anything that weekend.

Also, PSA I'm going to Ecuador 5/22-6/2 so I'll be MIA and off the grid, most likely no internet access. Don't kick me off the team because you don't hear from me! I'll still try to read! :D

And Ecuador?? So jealous! I have been to Europe several times and to Dubai & Thailand, but never to Central or South America. I'm making my first trip there the end of July. My brother, uncle and I are going to Roatan, Honduras.

I don't have that book and won't be able to get it! So not joining in this time!

Ecuador sounds nice! I've never been to Central America, been wanting to for a while. Boyfriend and I are planning a trip to playa del Carmen hopefully next summer!

Sorry guys, but I'm going to have to start Into the Water Thursday. It's a new release/library book and I only have two weeks to read it. I want to make sure I get it read before it has to go back! You guys can buddy read and I can just add my comments in when you discuss!

I can't do a buddy read, unless you want to start Thursday! As I mentioned in a recent post it's a library book and due back in two weeks. But we can definitely discuss!

I wish I could join you guys! Salt to Sea is on my to read list.....but my books out and ready to read pile is gigantic plus with the BOMs there's just not enough time!

Just a reminder that maria helena and I both work during the work week. She is able to update some during the day depending on how busy she is. Unfortunately, *pout, pout*, I can only update after work.

The challenge starts at 3 pm for me. I have loaded on my iPod and am ready to start! I'm hoping I can sneak in some listening while still at work :-)

You guys - last week I had so many books in my CR folder, but I only have 1 left!!!! I can't believe it. I have ~145 pages left of The Zookeeper's Wife: A War Story and THAT IS IT. I should be able to finish tonight, although I do have a huge pile of work to get through. The TT deadline must have been just what I needed. :-)

I will probably finish The Circle by tomorrow, I couldn't resist and started reading along and I'm close to the end!

Remember , you can't finish it until after the challenge starts. I have a few more housekeeping items to do then I'm off to read The Circle

Yeah I know which is why I'm holding off to continue reading tomorrow! I'm anxious to see how it ends!!
