Support for Indie Authors discussion

Question for those of you who changed a book's cover because it wasn't selling: how long did you wait before making that decision? Did it prove effective?

Anywhere from a month to a year. Sometimes.

I've only changed a couple of covers, but not really because they weren't selling, it was more because when I started, I had no idea what I wanted and no skill. As I became a little more artistically inclined, I went back and did a makeover for a couple of books. I haven't noticed much of a change in sales based in the cover, to be honest.
