Hey Wolf! I requested access to the spreadsheet. :)

So it looks like there are 37 categories for one round of this game.

I'll list what books I have for each category. I know it's highly unlikely I'll be able to read this many, but this way I'll have a list ready should I need to read for one of the tasks. :D

- Watch out for those monkeys! Distract them by reading a book with food on the cover!
- Watch out for that Lion! Find something even scarier! Read a horror story!
- Roll a five or an eight – read 800 pages of your choice (can be made up from more than 1 book.) (anything goes)
- What year is it? Read a book published in 1995.
- I’ve been in Jumanji! Read a Paranormal story.
- That’s my car! Read a book with a car on the cover.

Part 3 – Time to play the game:
- We need our fourth player! Quick buddy read a book! (GBR&BR&R also count) (this one will be easy to get. :))
- They grow much faster than bamboo – Read a book with flowers on the cover.
- Watch out for the hunter! Read a book with the words ‘hunter/hunted/hunt’ in the title.
- It’s a stampede! Run! Read a book whose title starts with the letter R.
- We lost the game! Read a book in which someone goes missing.
- Help! I’m turning into a monkey! Read a book starting with one of your teammates initials to save them! (Each teammate’s initial can only be used once!) (Colleen)
- There be a monsoon in your lagoon! Read a book with water or rain on the cover (or in the title)
- You wrestled a crocodile for me! Read a romance novel.

Planned BRs - (1st) - think this would cover the part 1 category a book about bullying but will check this with Sarah
(2nd) - part 1 book by an author named Sarah
(7th) - part 3 has water on the cover
(12th)

I can do the horror story for part 2
I can do the car on the cover part 2


I've matched my TBR pile/ARCs to the categories so will focus on the ones I've set up or that we haven't got sorted, then fill in. I'm trying to make it a personal challenge to go through all categories, so i'm happy to slot in where I can.

Ok, I kinda made it a personal challenge to go through all the categories as well. You can request access to the spreadsheet as well and update your things as well.

I'm gonna make it a personally challenge to make it through all the tasks, but only if I can find shorter books for all the tasks. :))

Thanks for setting that up Wolf. I've claimed two books in each category. I don't think I've been on a team with Melanie or Coreen before so I don't know your reading speeds, but I know that you read fast Wolf. Shall we start by claiming two sections for a part and then see how we go?

Sure. I've been on a team with Melanie before, and she reads pretty fast. I've never been on a team with you and Coreen before though. I can claim as many as you want me to, but that sounds like a great idea.

I vary from like 1 to 10 books a week. All depends on the length of the book and also how busy of a week it is. :)

I made separate pages on the spreadsheet for each of us. We can use them (if we want) for our full reading lists. :D

Melanie, that's a great idea as I was confusing myself earlier! I'll need to rejig a few planned reads so will update my list tomorrow. I'll prioritise reading the ones where we have blanks to fill in first time (starting with a couple from each category) and then slot in as needed. This should mean I can post reviews as I go rather than waiting for the category to restart.

Glad you like the idea. :) It got kind of difficult for me to update my reading list in a comment, so I figured why not put it in the spreadsheet. :) Soooo much easier and I just need to find two "J" books and then my reading list is complete, lol!! I'm so ready for this challenge to start!

Hi guys, it's nearly time...Have you noticed every other serious team has five members now? Let's roll up our sleeves and get reading!

@Karen - I agree. I think I'll be able to finish one or two books a day since I won't be doing anything this month. I'll start on May 1st

@Karen I noticed that. It's going to make me push myself more, since it's a little bit of a disadvantage. :D About 12 hours and I can start!

Desperately trying to finish my book for this month's challenge (not that it'll help much) and then will get books in order to start tomorrow.

Me too. I want to finish two books, at least. I'm close to finishing one. O.o

@Karen I noticed that. I think we can still do it though.

I will try to begin reading at 12 tonight, and begin going crazy with reading. I think I should be able to have a little more reading time this month, since, I can't do much in working.

This is my last month to guarantee reading before I start exam marking. Hopefully I've chosen some short books that won't take ages to read.

About to finish my first book.

Just posted my first review and updated the spreadsheet. I'm starting with my ARCs that I need to get out of the way in the next couple of days.
