It will take him time to recover but with Sebastian's help, I think he will be OK>

Like many men, Tom is blinded by Kat's beauty. He doesn't realize that it is only skin deep.

I felt for him, and for Sebastian who thought he had Tom safely at home. This was a truly disturbing event.

Thanks for that reminder, Veronica, about what tied Tom to Kat. Yeah, he'd be won over in a snap if he'd witnessed Hero's skills.
I was hoping against hope that Tom wouldn't be involved but I wasn't surprised when he was taken.
One great outcome from the experience is the elevation of Tom's relationship with Sebastian who now realizes he needs to stop treating him like a young tiger and more like a young man. I think it was an education for Sebastian to learn what it took for children like Tom to survive and make it this far. This was an important recognition for him. I'm really interested in seeing what's next for these two.

That being said Rowe was probably that arrogant that he thought he could get away with anything. After all he had for years been a serial killer.
Either arrogance (most probably) or ignorance of Sebastian's affection for Tom. He should have known Sebastian would come after him with a vengeance.
