As they reached the surprise destination, they could hear a calming sound of waves. The two got out and approached a wide bare beach. The moon brightened their view and lit up the whole beach. The ocean looked black and calm in the night. John smiled, "Do you like it?"

She smiled some. "this is beautiful." She whispered at him. This was amazing. "What are we doing here?" She thought there was more to this than he was letting on. "I love it." She looked into his eyes. "This is so cool." SHe said.

He smiled, "I'm glad you like it." he paused, shuffling the sand with his feet, "And the reason I brought you here is because you never have been here and because I thought you could use some different scenery other than my backyard," he laughed. As the two walked along the shore, John would lightly bump into her, just to get a friendly vibe between them. Suddenly he paused, "Um, Elaine. The truth f why I brought you here is.. is because I think I love you." the words were soft but true. John had been in love with her for months, but never knew how to say it.

She looked at him with look. "Yes this is different than your backyard." not believing him about thats being anything else. She smiled as he bumped into her. She smiled at him. Then she heard that he loves her. She stopped in her tracks. She let go of his hand. She turned around and looked into his eyes. She hugged him tightly. "I love you." She whispered. She was so happy. Did he really like her? Or was he faking it. she wasn't sure and didn't care. "John anything else you have to say?" SHe whispred soflty.
