Hannah Kelly (herfictionalfelicities) | 118 comments Okay there is a book about an arthurian knight he name was either accolon or agravaine, I think and the cover was partially french maybe????! What sticks most in my mind was a cover with an errant knight against a medieval landscape but I don't think he was wearing armor? I remember this book mostly by a review written about it by a man, I think, not the first one but two or three from the top saying that he meant to finish it but never did but that it had a way of drawing you in???? The problem is this book reminds me of another book on here, but I know they are separate. If anyone had any ideas I would appreciate it, I am sorry if this is confusing.

Hannah Kelly (herfictionalfelicities) | 118 comments Thank you, but the book is a novel. It's not the original work.

GypsyBookworm, the bump period for this group is 30 days because the group is so large. You do need to be somewhat patient.

When did you see this book or its review? Did the book seem old or new? (If you can guess about when it was published, a range of years is fine, that is always helpful.)

Hannah Kelly (herfictionalfelicities) | 118 comments Well I think it was probably published semi recently, maybe early nineties? It had a picture of a knight on the cover but he wasn't wearing regular armor just typical medieval clothes a cloak. and no helmet. He had long dark hair and he was on a road overlooking what looked like a precipice that sloped down. There were tall conifer looking trees dotting the crest of the road. He had a careworn expression. It was supposed to be about a long suffering hero, some kind of redemption story inspired by one of Arthur's knights either Accolon or Agravaine I think, I know his name started with an A. Apparently it was a rather dense read according to someone who reviewed it, written in a kind of an old style.

Wikipedia.org: Knights of the Round Table -- Agravain[e], Aglovale (Sir Agolvale de Galis), Amhren/Amren. I don't see Accolon in the list, but he's referred to as a knight loyal to Avalon.

The Last Templar just to throw something totally different in, but with a somewhat similar cover to what GypsyBookworm described.
