Post any resources related to the play (or its subjects) here.

Cynda I have used The Complete Works of Shakespeare in which I found out how to think about the play. A quote I recorded:
"Politcs seems to to require a morality quite apart from that of personal life, posing a tragic dilemma for Brutus . . . "

Cynda I have used Shakespeare: The Invention of the Human in which I found out their is no foregrounding to provide cause of the tragedy. That lack is what makes the story of the play strange, uncaused, almost plain willfull.
Even plays where some question whether Shakes wrote the play-- such as Henry VIII--contain foregrounding.

I used this guide from SparkNotes: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4... The design and illustrations are gorgeous.
