Tamara✨ (jeremyhillaryboob) Sorry if this has already been asked/answered...! I just realised I don't actually know where I can see them and I'd like to be able to as there are some I want to make a note of in case I don't win them......!!!!

Dorie - Cats&Books :) (dorie--catsbooks) | 427 comments No, that's an unfortunate thing about NetGalley. If you want to keep track you will have to do that yourself, there is no way to see the books that you've wished for, as far as I know and I've been on NetGalley 3 years. Maybe someone else has discovered a secret but as far as I can tell you, there isn't a way :(

Thamy | 36 comments I have no idea either, the only way is to go to the book page and it'll say if you have wished for it. It's a good thing chances of getting wishes are so slim or my to-read shelf would be even more of a mess.

Alison (bananatricky) | 35 comments This won't tell you if "wished" for something rather than requested it, but if you go to Your Shelf and then the fourth heading is Not Active - that will list all books that are still pending, those where you were declined and those that you were offered but didn't download.

Hope that helps.

*TUDOR^QUEEN* (tudorqueen) | 51 comments I've had quite a few "Wish for it" books I've gone for lately on NG. I have never seen so many classifed as such. It's a shame you can't see these listed; if I was suddenly approved for all of them I might feel a bit overwhelmed at the pile of books to be read and reviewed.

Thamy | 36 comments That's one of the downsides. :( It's happened to me that right when my shelf was at maximum capacity, two wishes came out of nowhere. I'm a drama queen but still I felt so overwhelmed I'm more careful with wishes since then.

Tudor Queen, I'm not sure whether you were in the other group's discussion but it seems Netgalley has made so international users are only able to "wish" in lieu of "request". I see it's not your case and indeed I've seen an increase of wishes, but if you think it's too abnormal, maybe you should contact them. There could be something wrong, like with how you're classified in their system.

Thanks, Thamy- I've been able to Request (in fact I requested 2 today after receiving an email from NetGalley pushing a couple of books). I'm hesitant to update my profile on NG because I don't have a blog, and even so I've been doing very well with being approved for books. It's kind of..."if it works, don't fix it!"

I'd feel the same. In fact, it's been a while since I last updated there other than changing minor things.
