Denise | 25 comments I just published my first novel and I am so excited I could spit!!!!! Here's a blurb. Ahhhhh!

" Your family has a huge responsibility, and they need you.
Now.

In all of her eighteen years, normal has never been a word you could apply to Jess Gardner’s life. She is a medium, making her living by communicating with the dead. Even had she been a psychic, she couldn’t have predicted the drama about to be brought to her door. The messenger, Aaron Thorne, enters her world with the news that the mother she’d thought dead is still alive. Suddenly, her maternal family is in desperate need of her help. Should Jess give up everything she knows to help a family she never knew existed? Also, a mysterious evil force is draining the life from the present Priestess, and Jess may be the only one who can save this newfound clan. Will the promise of uncovering more about herself, and a chance with a new family be enough to draw her into a potentially deadly situation?"

Kandie (kankan929) | 36 comments This is one amazing group. I just returned from a much needed vacation and ready to stir things up and show support. I'll be reading each of the posts in between (work deadlines) and will do my best to show support.

I have released a couple of novellas, "Countdown to a Kiss" (which is now a deluxe edition) and Rescuing Mr. Wright. I also have a paranormal suspense anthology, "Tempestuous Tales" available.

"Rescuing Mr. Wright" is free for a limited time through Kindle Unlimited. And I have a contest that can be reviewed on my website at http://www.kandiedelley.com/spn-cover....

I'm trying to stay in "accordance" with the rules of posting. So if any additional questions. Let me know.

If you have a rom-com that will be released between May and June 2015 hit me up and I'll try to get an author spotlight on you during that time.

Andrew Lawston (andrewlawston) | 41 comments My new collection of short stories, Something Nicer, has been out for almost a month now. But today, it's available for just $0.99 / £0.99 as it's being promoted by the nice people at EBookSoda.

What happens when ET doesn't phone home, but stays for 30 years? When the evil clown under a child's bed carries on lurking in the shadows through sixth form? When a cat decides catching mice is over-rated, and fixes her ambitions on becoming an art critic? Or when the Internet becomes sentient, and googles the best way to overthrow humanity?

With a cast of ghost zombies, senile witches and cloned Santas, this second volume of short stories from Andrew K Lawston develops the author's unique way of looking at the world, and ensures you'll never look at a stepladder in the same way.

Something Nicer on Amazon, like Ken it's cheaper than coffee, until tomorrow afternoon!

Ken, even if no one 'returns the favor' if you will, I still get to read some cool indie books, so it's still a win. ;)

J. David Clarke (clarketacular) | 418 comments Should be able to pick up some more books from this list soon. My to-read list is long long long though, so I am not getting to them as quickly as I'd hoped. Please keep posting entries here!

Good luck with your list - I read as much as I can, but my to-read list seems to be growing faster than I can knock books off.

Julie Round | 6 comments We have eight people in our writing group. The Sea Scribes and it is difficult to talk about what we do without breaking the Group Rules.
I didn't read all of "A Lesson for the Teacher" to the group so some bought a copy. It is great to see their books in print and stops one feeling so alone. I'll try to pick up a copy of a suggested book and wish everyone well. ( That's not promotion, is it?)

No, Julie, I wouldn't call it a promotion. However, as you must have noticed, the group slowed down to a halt. I am not sure many visit and read the posts anymore.

It's been a while and the group rules faded from my memory, but if I remember right, talking about your work is fine. It's the usual Buy me posts that aren't. That and links. So you are fine. Don't worry. :)
