Seriously, more power to you, but I'm a shade skeptical that anyone - or any non-supernatural force on Earth - can make self-publishing "hassle free."

Still, I think there are better ways to go about it, and people will think of better ways still.

James Corkill | 10 comments Good luck, and let me know if you create a magic button. I think it will always be a hassle for new authors. Fortunately, there is a lot of great advice available here on GR.

Akhil Ramankutty | 1 comments Lawrence, that's very thoughtful of you. I went through your blog. Its very interesting and very well written. :)

If you ask me, self publishing should be made more "hassle prone", then at least, the books that come out of it would be worth reading. Of course, art is subjective, and there will be at least one person out there, for every book. So, Ankit, hope your project gets each of those books to the right audience.

And James, there is a magic button, if you haven't noticed. It turns on automatically when a writer knows what he's doing, or when he's too in love with his work, that he hasn't even heard of the button. You have written some very beautiful quotes. I will be on the lookout for your future works.
