Steve (plinth) | 179 comments The story ends in an abrupt manner, but the kindle version has a chunk of the next book. Is that in the print edition as well?

Will discussion include this or not?

Ultimately, should I stay or should I go?

Ruth (tilltab) Ashworth | 2218 comments My kindle version didn't have any of the following book. So I think for the discussion, it's better to stick with the first book only. Though I notice there is a thread for the whole of the series if you are planning on continuing.

Mahriana Rofheart I was so surprised because my kindle version said 92% completed though I was actually done with the book. I wasn't expecting it to be over already! I thought I had more of Dawn to read, and then I realized that it was just the preview section of the next book. I didn't start the next book since it isn't the whole thing. I will probably read it at some other point when I can get it in full.

Tom Lange Its also in the Audible audiobook. I did not listen too it though. Wanted to save it for later if I read the next book.

Scott | 312 comments The audiobook includes it as well, a good 25+ mins if I remember correctly. I didn't listen to it though because I never read excerpts in other books

Sandi (sandikal) | 1212 comments My Kindle edition had the excerpt. I usually skip them, but I read this one. It's interesting, but picks up an unspecified number of years after Dawn and doesn't really continue the same story. I really do want to read the rest of the series, but I'll hold off for awhile.
