Farheen It's summer, and I have nothing to read! I don't know anything being more boring than that.

So I was looking for some new book recommendations, something like Harry Potter? Or LOTR? Or THG?

Something different might be good for me as well. Though I don't do well with non-fiction. Let's keep to fiction

Romance maybe?
Or crime?
I'm a sucker for fantasy/mystery.


Any awesome series you all know about?

Mary A really good crime/thriller book is Invisible by James Patterson. The ending has a huge plot twist that 99% of readers never see coming.

Another good book that's more fantasy/thriller/crime is Doctor Sleep by Stephen King. The first 100 or so pages were hard for me to get through, but the action does eventually pick up.

Mary Also, J.K. Rowling came out with a new crime/mystery series so if you're a huge fan of her work, you could pick those books up at your local bookstore and give them a read. I'm planning on starting the series myself this week!
