Aussie Readers discussion

I'm looking for detective novel, preferably from Australian author and story must be in some Australian town (preferably Sydney) and in early years of 20th century. From old author or new author. Maybe some noir detective story, with lots of cliches (blond secretary, smoky office and so on). Please suggest me some authors and books :) I'm eager to read :)

Chris Taylor has a couple of crime series, all set in Sydney.

Catherine Lee's Cooper & Quinn series are crime and set in Sydney.

Kathryn Fox sets hers in Sydney, also Karen M. Davis and Katherine Howell

Don't forget our own Sandi Wallace..though hers are set in Victoria they would certainly fit the bill. Also our own Vicki Tyley 😉
