He caught up and followed. "Do you ever have normal dreams? Or normal Half-blood dreams?"

"with me being a psychic, they go into greater depth. Sometimes I'll even live a day of someone's life in my dreams...." she looked over at him ad squeezed his hand "what about you??"

"My brain likes the rerun track. Always shows me things I could have done better. Also, because of my mom, I tune into people trying to do necromancy and rituals. It's kinda annoying but funny." He chuckled and looked back at her.

She smiled at him "sometimes it's like a mix of old photographs and brief videos, all from different times. Sometimes it's form the past, sometimes it's the future, but it's all mixed together to when I can't tell which"

"So kinda like a Vine compilation?" He smiled and squeezed her hand lightly.

"yeah... I guess" she laughed. She stated to leas him over to the sea cliffs

He followed her over. "This is a cool spot."

"cool??" she directed his gaze out to the ocean, to the waves that crashed below and the sun that set above "better than cool. I sometimes come here if I want inspiration"

"You're right." He nodded. "It's a beautiful spot to come with a beautiful person." He looked over at her. "I'm the beautiful person."

She almost blushed, and then started laughing "yes. Yes you are the beautiful person. What am I then??"

He turned to face her. "You are captivating."

Now she really did blush "OK that was pretty smooth" she commented

"I try my best." He chuckled. He put his arm over he shoulder and looked out across the water. "I just realized we're looking at your dad."

"do you think he can actually see us from the sun chariot????" she squinted her eyes and looked at the sun. Being a child of Apollo, she had more tolerance to looking directly at it, and could faintly make out the shape of the charity hidden in the glow

"If he wanted to I think he could. Hopefully, He won't." He looked between the sun and the water.

"and why is that???" she looked over at him and pulled her knees up to her chest

He leaned over and lightly kissed her cheek. "That."

She blushed brightly "you know,... As a psychic.. I'm kind of ashamed I didn't see that coming"

"I'm kinda happy you didn't. It adds to the surprise." He smiled and also blushed a little.

She smiled and tentatively rested her head on his shoulder, sighing as the sun continued to set "soooo.... Are you free tomorrow??? Or do you have to be at the infirmary??"

"Well I'll probably be sleeping until the late morning but I'll be free if no one needs me in the infirmary." He said and he put his arm around her.

"do you..... Do you want to do something tomorrow????" she asked carefully

"Isabella, are you asking me out on a date? Because I would love to." He chuckled.

She laughed blushing "really??? Youre not joking right?"

"I am not joking. I would love to do something with you tomorrow. On one condition." He said to her.

She raised an eyebrow and turned her head to look at him "what condition???" she asked almost suspiciously

"Once we're done here I walk you back to your cabin." He said. "Deal?"

She grinned "so gentlemenly... Sure."

"I'm really too tired to think of anything else. What did you think it was?" He asked.

UK came out of the bathroom in just a towel and looked around for something to put on. He was unaware that Megan was still in the shack.

She shrugged and blushed "I dunno... I thought you were going to say that you got to pick the date thing"

Megan was still there of course. She was reorganizing the shelf of herbs and things, almost forgetting that he was there. She almost dropped a jar ewen she turned around "holy Hades" she glared at him "pants Larry. Pants"

"Oh, I'm definitely too tired for that." He stretched and the sun finally disappeared below the horizon.

UK jumped and glared right back at her, trying to keep his towel up. "Yes Megan those would be helpful. Know where I can get some?"

Iz looked up at the stars "come on.... Before the harpies start to come out of where ever they hang out during the day..."

"what the fuck happened to the pants you were wearing before you got into the shower??? Did someone steal them???" that was a serious question. Things like that had happened before

He nodded and stood up, helping her up. He took Isabella's hand and started to walk. "What's your favorite constellation?"

"Well usually you don't put on the same dirty clothes you had after a shower and infirmary's usually have extra clothes for people who don't have any. Sorry if that's just a Roman thing." He told her. He scanned the room for anything to wear.

"Orion... Right now. There are actually a lot of cool constellations that got lost because of light pollution" she looked kind of sad

She rolled her eyes and pointed to a cabinet "in there. For the love of the gods.. Don't drop your towel"

"I like Eridanus. I want to take a trip to the middle of nowhere and just watch the stars," He said, looking up at the sky.

"I'm trying." He walked over to the cabinet and grabbed the clothes, then walked back to the bathroom and closed the door.

"I used to paint constellations on the rooftop of my house....." she looked up at the stars

The door closed and she rubbed her eyes tiredly. "fucking hell" she murmured and shook her head.

"We should sit on my roof one night." He said to her.

He came out a few minutes later with the new clothes on. he had the towel in one arm and his old clothes in the other.

"I would like that. It could be like a picnic... But one where we would get in trouble if we were caught" she nodded enthusiastically "it's gonna be sweeeetttttt"

Megan looked up with a stifled yawn when she saw him come out "OK that'd better. Burn the old clothes or something"

"What's the fun if there's no risk." He chuckled and nodded.


"You have someplace to burn them? That's not for offering things to the gods?" He asked as he walked over to the bed and set the stuff down.

"as someone who typically knows a lot about what happens.... For me the fun is seeing how we end up." Isabella continued to walk across the Green.

"I have a blowtorch" she seemingly pulled one out of thin air "don't ask me why I have one though...."

"Hopefully it's laying on a roof looking at stars or safely sleeping in a bed." He looked over to her cabin.

"I'm more curious as to where it came from." He knew his bow appeared out of his tattoo and maybe this was something similar.

She stopped in front of the door, still holding his hand "so I see you tomorrow???? Maybeeeee???" she bit her lip

"I just have quick fingers" she demonstrated her skills, making a coin seem to appear and then disappear. She found herself smiling before she remembered she was supposed to be angry
"you know how certain God's give you certain abilities??? I guess I just got the quick draw"

He leaned over and kissed her cheek for about a solid seven seconds. "I'll see you tomorrow. You may have to wake me up though."

"Most people think that all Apollo kids can sing, write poetry, and heal but not all. I just got the music, truth, healing, light, and plague gifts." He held up his hand and it lit up like a light.

She blushed brightly and almost stammered "why would I need to wake you up???"

"truth and plague gifts????" she stepped closer to examine his hand. She didn't seem so ready to rip his head off anymore

"Because I am very sleep deprived and will not wake up unless my body deems it necessary of someone wakes me up," John told her. "I could sleep for a week but I'd rather not."

"I can tell when someone is telling the truth or not and I can make someone sick." He said. He turned his hand brightness down. "It's not the only thing that glows."

"I ll wake you up" she promised him with a smile.

She raised an eyebrow suspiciously " mhhhmmmmm???? And what else glows????"

"Inside, before you go-go, or when September ends?" He chuckled.

"My whole body. I'm like that kid from Sky High except instead of glowing in the dark I glow like the sun." He turned off his hand.

She laughed and said "before you go-go" she assured him and gave him a peck on the cheek

"glow???" she snickered "can you take it up a notch??? Set something on fire??? Or do you not give off heat when you do that???" she stepped closer

He smiled and nodded. "Good choice. I'll see you tomorrow." He walked off to his cabin.

"Let's say the brighter the hotter. I've never tried to light things on fire but I have gone bright enough to make things around me start to smoke." He smiled and held up a finger, making it glow like E.T.
