Most of our books are old and can be found as free PDF files so Jeimy, if the mailing doesn’t change, I would be okay with starting with the pdf file, so don’t worry and send the book when you can. I will keep notes until journal arrives.
I wonder, could you create an example of how the book swaps are mailed in the one’s you previously participated?

Made the change, Jeimy! We're good to go - I had thought the other way would increase variety, but I totally get the ease of mailing, so thanks!
Tricia and Hallie, just let us know that you are aware of the change, and I think we are good to go.

Everything looks good! I should be able to get my book out in the mail this week. Thanks for getting the schedule all put together, Deb.
My book will go out in the mail probably the First of March or close to that. I am set to go.
I am aware of the new schedule. Thanks Deb.

Deb, I guess I am not seeing the changes. It looks the same to me or I don’t understand. Do I always mail to the book I am reading to Hallie?
Yes, I think I have it. I will be sending my book always to Hallie and receive my book from Deb. Right?

I made the changes in the google document - in the second chart, I just changed it so that we are always sending out to the same person. Hope that helps!

(Am I the only one that had looked forward to book mail from 4 different people? lol)

I’ve never done this before but it would have been interesting.

I’m eavesdropping on your group and I wanted to send to different people in my group each round but we couldn’t figure out how to make it work easily so we’re all mailing to the same person each time :)

Then I vote: keep it easy, same person. I have Hallie as my person and I have my package ready to mail.

I received The Enormous Room and will ship it tomorrow. I had started reading a Kindle Edition earlier this week and will stay up finishing it tonight to be able to write general, non-spoiler, comments about it on the journal.

Just saw it and replied. Thanks! <3
Deb, did you start a Litsy account? I finished Giovanni’s room. Really liked it, will be sending it on soon,
Hallie, the next book is off today, it should be there Friday.
Deb, your book, Giovanni’s Room is on it’s way to Hallie.

Hey! I meant to comment yesterday... Kristel, your package arrived as promised. Tricia, I put The Return of the Soldier in the mail to you yesterday.

I listened to the audio as the font was difficult. I also downloaded a pdf file to I books and am using the annotated notes that I found on line to go through the text and delve a bit deeper. I am enjoying the whole process.
I think Jeimy was sold a bad copy as this was not annotated. Only a photo copy of pdf files.

I’m hoping to get to the post office tomorrow to send Giovanni’s Room, Tricia.

Deb,
Thank you so much for organizing this. In my other book swaps we always mail to the same person. That makes it easier to remember and we don't have so much to keep track of. Do you think the document can be revised? If I am the only one with this suggestion, I would be ok leaving the document as is.
Also, I ordered my book via Amazon and it is supposed to arrive by March 9. I bought a Kindle edition so that I may start reading it beforehand. If I see that the delivery date is delayed in some way (USPS has not been the same after the hurricanes), I will send my journal ahead of the physical book and purchase a Kindle edition (or preferred eReader version) for the first recipient so that we don't fall behind on my account.
As for my preference, treat the book as you would your own, but I would appreciate if final thoughts are recorded on the journal.
