I am afraid the book has not arrived and is lost. I am running out of time to complete the traveling book with only Nov and Dec remaining and two books to go.

Kristel, I’m so embarrassed - I finished it a while ago and thought I sent it out, but in the craziness of my schedule I left it and the journal in a bag in my car - and never sent it 😩😳 I will send it immediately - possibly today, tomorrow at the latest. I’m so sorry - I never received my book, and so it just slipped my mind. I’ll have to reach out to Jeimy to see where my book is. Again, so sorry!!!!

I never received Loving, shouldn’t I have had that one before The Mayor of Casterbridge?

I actually hadn’t looked at that schedule for a while - I never received Loving, just The Mayor...

What books does everyone have? I don’t have a book yet- Hallie, Tricia, and Jeimy, which books do you have? Hopefully we can get everything back on track soon.

I posted a note in Litsy too, so hopefully can find where things are.

Jeimy probably has Loving and The Return of the Soldier. He said he would email me the book yesterday, so hopefully I will receive it this week. Once all the books are set, we can go back and change the google doc, if necessary. I’ll be in touch. 😊

I have not mailed Mayor of Casterbridge yet as still waiting for Loving.

I haven’t yet received a book and have e-mailed about it. Hopefully they’ll come to us soon, and then we can rework the schedule based on who’s participating and who has what book 😊

Yes, I think we all are participating, things just got mixed up. We probably will go into the new year the way things are looking.

Deb, I contacted Jeimy on Litsy. She said she mailed the books. Have they arrived?

Yes, I sent the book through the UPS store. Let me know if you got it. The tracking number is at school. I can check on it on Monday. If I am not mistaken, we have one more book to go, correct?

Morning all, I haven’t received a book yet but will let you know when I do! As far as I remember - I’ve only read two (e.e. Cummings, hardy) because I didn’t read the one technically for this quarter that ends in the end of November - everyone else should have read three books. As soon as I get the book I’ll let you know!

I have 1 book left to read (Loving) and my own (The Return of the Soldier), so technically I have two remaining but one does belong to me so I can read it whenever.

Hi everyone, I received both Loving and the Return of the Soldier today. I’m a little confused, because it looks like no one has read Loving yet, so that will need to get sent around and might take longer to finish. I’ll look over the current schedule and fix it up 😊

Hi all! I have fixed up the schedule. Please feel free to make any changes on the google doc if there is a book that you have not read and aren’t on the future send list for. Most of our books will be finished with their travels soon, but Loving will take a bit longer (I will read that as quickly as possible and get it to Kristel this month).

Hi Kristel, I actually still have to write in the journal and with the holidays didn’t have time. Good news - I have finished both books and will mail them together. I can’t promise exactly when, but I’ll post here when I do. How is everyone else doing with their last book?

That is what I am doing too, I am sending them all together now that we are so off schedule. I am not in any hurry.

I've sent that on to Hallie, she had it last. You might want to check with her to see if she has read it yet.

Tricia should have it now. I did send it later than planned, so she might have just got it.

Is this a group that requires you send books back and forth? Just trying to figure out how that all works. Is it possible to just be part of the group and not do that?

It was an event that was part of 2018 in this group Reading 1001. There is no active traveling book swaps going on right now. Emma, please check out some of the opportunities available for 2019. We would love to have you join in one or more of the opportunities here at Reading 1001.
