I made my 2018 corner where I want to read 50 books. Is this one used like where I can post my progress and opinions or what should I do in this forum? Sorry for the inconvenience of my surely amateur question

I just answered your question in the Member corner topic here. In general, you can use your personal challenge to track your progress, post reviews, and be interactive with other members.
The member corners are mostly used to keep track of challenges and statistics, but you can set it up any way you want.

You can have a look at my personal challenge topic, and member corner to get the idea.

How can I access the list of 52 topics of the GR Reading Challenge 2018 from my Goodreads app on my mobile? I have tried navigating through the app in various directions, but nothing seems to bring me to the list :(

Hi Juljulie, am I correct in assuming you are talking about this challenge in the Around the Year in 52 Books group? If so, I would like to redirect you the the mods of that group.
If you are referring to another list, could you please specify which one you mean?

I was wondering if it would be ok to move my personal challenge from 50 to 100 Books to 100+ books since it's now 252 books .

I've actually read 7 books now, but only 3 are registered against my 2018 challenge.
4 books haven’t got a "read" date shown against them, how does this date get shown/added?

Loraine I looked on your page and I see 7. There is sometimes a delay in the way that they add. Here is the link for you showing all 7

I am currently reading Persuasion by Jane Austen. This version is published by Book-of-the-Month-Club, Inc. (I have never heard of them) for the "Quality Paperback Book Club."
However, I cannot find this version on Goodreads, but I had wanted to use this book (once I finish) towards some of the challenges, like "Let's Turn Pages." What should I do/what version should I use? Thank you.

Hi Thing! I know Goodreads has a librarians group that might be able to help you. I have also asked the other Mods if they have other suggestions. One of us will get back to you at some time tomorrow.

You can also use a book with Similar Page numbers to count for your challenge

Hi everyone, my name is Chelsea. I asked support and am waiting but I wanted to know if anyone has lost All of their read history before? I lost 3 yrs of Date Read and my Reading challenge has reset to 0....I am devastated :( I added my 33rd book and it displayed an error to reload. I reloaded and then everything disappeared. All Read Dates gone

Hi everyone, I sent a message to support but thought I'd ask here too. My Read Date doesn't appear to be saving, and as a result my challenge number is not updating with my most recently read books. Has anyone else had any issues?

Did you lose all your read data like me, or it just won't save onwards? I lost all my read dates for over 2 years worth

Its beginning to look wide spread. My count reset to 0 also. I am not seeing any read dates in my read folder. I know the site was having ossues earlier. Hopefully they will be able to recover the data!

I was asked to link my book titles but I don't remember how to do it. Could somebody teach me how to do this.

Thank you for sharing Goodreads' answer with us. In cases like this it is often useful to check the Goodreads Feedback group to see if anyone has already reported the problem and whether Goodreads employees have responded. :)

During the current read date crisis my latest read on the challenge has been counted twice! How can I get it to show just once?

Hi, I believe Goodreads are still trying to fix this issue because I had a message via the app. You could check out the Goodreads Feedback group for more detail?

All fixed.

Colin you can edit the read dates, click ‘edit’ beside my activity beside the book itself. The word edit is quite small. You can delete the second time read through there; had to do it myself too after what happened. Hope this helps!

Thank you. Seems to be back running well again.

Happening to me again. Second read dates and duplicates in the challenge. Linwood Barclay Parting Shot showing twice and two read dates on my list. Followed Chelsea's suggestion above and went to Inspect Element and deleted the second date but it just returns as I suspect you have to have a clearance to alter this. Help!

Hi folks. My panic is over. I found that there was a delete on the review page underneath the box. Learned something today.

Is double dipping allowed? It was allowed in the Book Riots Challenge, although I didn’t take advantage of that option. I generally try to avoid it, but because this challenge is so long, and I’m starting late, this may be my only hope of finishing.

Hi Robin a book can count for more then one challenge but what we typically do is have one book count per task. Hope this helps. I will touch base with the other Mods just in case I do not want to miss inform you.

Hi Robin, Blagica is right, a book can count for multiple challenges. But we count a book only once within a challenge (unless stated otherwise for a particular challenge)

Loraine, that sounds like a Goodreads bug to me, but not one that I have seen before. I suggest that you contact Goodreads support with your question. You can email them at Support[at]Goodreads[dot]com. Please let me know how it turns out.

Satin, to reply on someone's comment you can click on reply at the bottom right corner of the comment. In your own comments it will be next to edit. As far as I know, this feature is only available when you visit Goodreads on your computer or a browser on your phone. It is not available in the app.

I see from past monthly challenges, there are usually 2x challenges per month. For August I can only see the one so far (Red Queen). Did I perhaps miss it?
