The Fitz POV short story really isn't that great, honestly.
I agree I wish it had more about what he was thinking and not just what happened when he got home.

Guys I just reread the entire KOTLC serie and when rereading I saw all the little details. And Keefe is CLEARLY in love with Sophie, hopefully they will end up together!
Me too, I think that even though Fitz is great and is Sophie's cognate, Keefe understands her on another level entirely.
Fitz is a telepath, and yet he doesn't understand Sophie like Keefe does.
Do you guys remember that scene in Lodestar when Keefe and Sophie are looking for Councillor Oralie and Mr. Forkle? Keefe is holding her hand for the first time since she got the Enhancer ability so he can feel her emotions on a deeper level. He grins at her when she says that she's an Enhancer, so I'm pretty sure he felt Sophie's less obvious but totally there crush for him.
Yeah, I think that while Sophie doesn't realize it, Keefe if the reason she didn't want to be official hopefuls with Fitz
