I agree with Ditzy, Keefe is perfect for Sophie because he can know what she is feeling even without touching her. Keefe even needs Sophie because she always seems to be able to pull him out of his troubles and mental wars. She can talk him out of doing stupid things alone while everyone else fails at that.

That is totally right, he NEEDS her and she needs him ! You see it from the start, Keefe is always there for her and Sophie is always there for him

I think Sophie will choose either Keefe or Fitz, but while she may choose Fitz first, I'm pretty sure she'll realize she has feelings for Keefe later. Then it will be SOKKKKEEEEEEFE!

I don't know... Sophie definitely will marry keefe or fitz but it's very uncertain. Shannon Messenger clearly likes Fitz more.(As a match for Sophie) But Keefe matches her and balances her out, you know? Also fitz is a little bit of a flatter character, if you know what I mean. Although book 7 was a fitz book, book 8 will have some cool love triangle spins so...

Also, I can't tell who she likes more, because I feel like it could be that she wants Sophitz to be a thing for only a while so they can still get their moment to shine, then it will switch on us and Sokeefe will dominate.

But it also could be that this is the moment that determines the winner and Sophitz is already there.

I think Shannon might just have Sofitz for a little bit. Then something major happens and Fitz goes out into one of his rages, and Keefe is there for Sophie.

Keefe actually NEEDS Sophie while Fitz already has a family that supports him (Besides Alvar). Without Sophie, Keefe's life will probably fall apart. Fitz makes a huge deal about his brother going the Neverseen, while Keefe's entire family is messed up, and Keefe doesn't freak out in a rage like Fitz. Also, when it's Sofitz, it's so awkward, because they can't really feel comfortable around each other. But when Sophie's around Keefe, they joke and laugh and talk to each other. And Sophie tells Keefe so much compared to what she tells Fitz. (and I could rant all day about how I believe in Sokeefe, but.... that would take too long ;) )
So... SOKEEFE!!!!!

I personally think that it shouldn't be whoever needs Sophie the most, but whoever she needs the most. I mean, both boys need her a lot, and it wouldn't be fair to Sophie if she just ends up with someone who's life would fall apart without her. I think that she needs Keefe, because she can be relaxed and they tease each other like people who had known each other their whole lives. Even Grady (I think it's Grady, it's been a while) notices their teasing. He says that friendship turns to teasing then teasing turns to flirting then flirting turns to... and he's cut off. But still!

I think that Sofitz will happen for a while and then for some reason they'll break up and Team Foster-Keefe will triumph for a while. Then, ultimately, Sophie will end up with one of them or a new guy turns up who she falls for or the series ends without us knowing who she ends up with. There is also that sad possibility that Sophie will die in the last book to save her friends/the world.

I also think it shouldn't be decided by who needs someone else the most. I remember reading this post that highlighted why I started to believe this. The person commented about how when I relationship is built off of need instead of true want and love it can lead to abusive or toxic relationships the lead to one person or both persons feeling like they can't leave the relationship even when it's toxic.

That's true, but I think that although Sophie likes Fitz in a more romantic way, she still cares about Keefe. That's something! And Sophie is a bit of an emotional character. She worries a lot and the stress can't be good for her. Fitz is a great guy, and I think he deserves someone who loves him like Sophie but she might not be the best match for him. He doesn't have the ability to calm her down or stop her rages. Keefe really balances her out and would be a great partner for her. I used to think Keefe was a shallow jerk, but it's those exposed moments with him that count. The jokes and pranks are just a cover and a way for coping. But underneath Keefe's cute fluff is someone who's sensitive and sweet. Keefe is kind and understanding, so he gets what Sophie's been through. Therefore...

I ship Fitzphie because the series needs to come to an end soon. There are two options if Sophie ends up with Keefe and they are this: 1. The series gets extended and extended an becomes way too long. OR 2. It is rushed and many hate the ending.

And... you all say Sophie should be with Keefe cuz he has more character development.... ever consider that maybe that's a reason that Fitz needs more character development? Keefe has enough development (I mean, he's my fave character, I still want more) without Sophie, but Fitzphie would MEAN more development for Fitz.

Sigh, everyone's favorite character is one of the main ones...but the most important one is obvi ELWIN!!!

Yes, I love Elwin!!! I guess, actually, I love all of the characters. My fave is still Keefe, but not because he's Keefe. More because he is the one who is most similar to a bunch of people I know. I won't go into detail because I don't know all of you, but I have a group of friends who are all basically separate versions of Keefe. (Don't worry-- it's not because of terrible parenting!) I guess I'm like that too, but not as bad??? Well, none of them have read KOTLC as far as I know, and I only see them for one weekend every year, so... but still. Keefe is my favorite character because I can totally see his personality as real. For someone else, they may be able to connect a different character with a group of friends, and then it would be different for them. Get what I'm saying? Every time he says anything I can picture someone else saying, especially recently. I have a friend that has to stay up all night every three nights or so to take care of someone. If she fell asleep and didn't pay attention they could die. As a result she is very stressed all the time but always loud and crazy and friendly and funny... but then you talk to her and mention it... she changes. Man, I talk to much. Its just a book character, but I just wanted to defend my choice. Sorry.

Does anyone feel that Sophie should just not pick Keefe or Fitz. I feel like it’s such a big deal about Keefe or Fitz that she should drop both of them. But have a new guy who is absolutely perfect for her and have her be with him instead . I mean I love Keefe but I’m getting tired of it. Also I feel like it would add more to the series and then we all have Keefe to ourselves! 😁😂
