Looking at the books that came in through Kindle recommendations I'd wanted to see Goodreads recommendations. When I search on the author, I can only find his page and book titles in German here on Goodreads - they're in English on Amazon. The GR page I'm searching and landing on isn't a .de (German internet specific) site. Anyone have clue? (and yes, I could use Google Translate, but it's a pain). Perhaps the author is hoping to push GR to be a multilingual site here you click your flag in the corner to get the right language, but seems a defeatist way to approach it.

They usually come up first in their native tongue. Go to "All Editions" and you'll see all languages available. I think this is what you wanted?

The German language edition happens to be the one that's popping up on the initial search. From abrowser there's a link that says "all editions" and it's on there.

Thanks!! I see the author's description on the right remains in German. Had not realized it went to native tongue first as I know we've seen other non-english speaking recommendations and I'm sure the author's page was in English there. Perhaps their choice? Anyway - thanks for leading me to the reviews :-) .

Well, I've been around for years - tend to lurk more than chat - but click on books / authors in threads or search from Bookbub and other recommendations pretty much daily and that was the first time I'd hit a page not in English starting with a Goodreads author search. (the link I'd shared was to the series but the author search had also landed me to the all German page). Thanks all.
