The Rory Gilmore Reading Challenge discussion

Hi everyone! I am trying to get a head start on making sure we have people lined up for 2019 to lead discussions etc. One thing I am going to implement as well, in addition to the monthly leaders and re-read leaders, is someone to lead a mini-challenge each season. You can go back and look at previous challenges to see how the lists are created! It's easy and fun!

Please leave a comment below with what you'd like to sign up for and which month/season/quarter!

Can I do the January group read, the quarter 1 re-read and the winter challenge?

Also, for clarification, would the winter challenge start December 2018, January 2019 or December 2019?

I can do February, the 2nd quarter reread, and the summer challenge.

I can do March then. :)

The winter challenge is actually going to run Jan 1, 2019 through March 31, 2019.

I can lead the May 2019 discussion and the fall mini challenge.

Put me down for one of each where needed!

I can do another as well! I'd like to do June as well.

Are there any months left open?

Hey everyone,
if you message me 4-5 book suggestions for people to vote on as your month's read, I'll be happy to create a group poll and send a message to all members for you.
To allow enough time for everyone to vote, I'd need your picks by the 15th of the month prior to the one your in charge of, but any time (even months) before that is fine too!
If you don't have the time or don't feel like it, just let me know - so us moderators can pick some books for the group to choose from.

Colleen just messaged me that she isn't a member of this group any longer, so we'll need somebody to fill in for her for both the August book and the Q4 re-read. Message me with 4-5 book suggestions if you can lead the book discussion next month. Thank you!
