Books2Movies Club discussion

We do not read quite often film adaptations that come after the fact (I think we've read so far only Neverwhere and Underworld), and this book, MirrorMask by Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean is the one. The story was first imagined, designed, and written for the movie. It garnered mostly positive reviews, although with complaints that visual effects outweighed the story itself. Let's see for ourselves! The book was published a few months after the release of the movie, so it may be read after the movie (I do not think that in this case the order matters really).
