Anne Louise Bannon | 15 comments I hope you don't mind me starting another topic, but Gail inspired me with her response that she hadn't explored all the list and other FF functions. Especially since I finally figured out how to make sure I keep everything updated on my Next Book List.

Okay, total face plant time, but I just realized that I only need to go to the series page to update my reading. I can mark a book read, update which list it's on (my lists are for which library or other source has the next book in the series) and then put the series to the top of my Next Book List, so I know to go find that.

Kinda obvious, but I'm feeling proud of myself. ;-)

Debbie's Spurts (D.A.) I didn't even know fictfact had a list function.

I'd like to see more booksite links possible than just Goodreads.

Yeah we've been working on adding documentation when we can. The best bet for finding out about our features is the FAQ (http://www.fictfact.com/faq).

Teri Pre | 89 comments Great tip Anne!

In a related question: Do any of you use the "series tags" feature? If so, how?

message 5: by Gail (new)

Gail (thebookbabe) | 8 comments I haven't started using the tags feature as I do this elsewhere; I rely on FF for its awesome list of seres. Some reader use other sites for complete listings of authors' titles, but I love FicFact for being dedicated solely to series. I tag books at LT where I list my 'reading list' as well as my book collection, adding titles as I purchase them. So many wonderful places to track books.

Teri Pre | 89 comments Gail, what is LT?

Gail (thebookbabe) | 8 comments Teri - it's Library Thing. I started there in 2008, earlier than when I signed on w/FF or GR. My book collection there is under gailblibrary; and my reading list is under thebookbabe. I'm way, way behind in adding books to my reading list, though.
