Current State of the Mod Corner:

After such a fun challenge - and so many ideas left untouched - is no surprise that the next team challenge is almost ready to take flight.

Mod 1: Can I call dibs on team name?
Mod 2: Tease the group. Tease them hard. Then claim your reward.

The Hogwarts Express went in a cloud of smoke, and the maze had no portkey after all.

All the magic vanished away, without a flicker, or wind gush, not even a spin of the land. All that is left is the forest, no longer forbidden, no dangers ahead, even if it seems creepy as hell.



Take a break, breathe and regroup. Time waits for no one, and too soon we'll be trick-or-treating, making pumpkin pies and tree hunting, hoping that this year we're out of Santa's naughty list.

Tree Hunting makes me think of Lord of the Rings - the whole Treebeard angle.

We're working on possibilities for LOTR, but it has to be awesome... so it has to wait. The little hobbit's ideas are gorgeous though, so I'm all giddy with excitement

I had to go back and look to see when UNO ended. So we have to wait until at least summer 2019? Patience is a virtue I never learned so I am not happy about having to wait.

Uno usually ends in April. So basically TT could happen next year like it did this year. A spring challenge that leads over into summer... sort of...

Well Hobbit day is September 22. I told the little hobbit there was no way we could pull it off this year soooooooo.....

Worry not. We have plenty of things to have you busy till there. We have the next team challenge coming up - hence the teaser - and another one bright and early in the year.

Plus I have some ideas for some monthly challenges, with topic leftovers from previous team challenges. So yeah. A nut house indeed.

Uno was my first ever challenge, which led me here to my first ever TT. Clearly it is a dangerous thing. I am so going to play again.

LOTR. The mind boggles as to what you evil brilliant people will come up with. Quests, battles, underground mazes, being randomly attacked by ring wraiths, being separated from your fellowship teammates, getting caught in a really big spider's web, having to know the lyrics to songs sung by the Hobbits, a wizards fight to the death, a long journey astride a white horse.

I'm kind of glad it will be a few months before this one starts. It gives you time to pick and choose the weirdest bits from the series to torture us with. Teehee.

Oh for the love of all things, please nothing to do with the goddamm poems! I have to skip the poems, each and every time, whether it's twee Tom Bombadil or faux-epic elvish chanting. I despise the poems, utterly.

Yeah, the actual actions & character were for sure problematic, but I had a total weakness when I was young for bleached hair and razor-sharp cheekbones. And he was WAY better than Angel!

And Marsters does EXCELLENT arrogant swagger (which he put to good use in Torchwood too). I do like the Dresden audios too - it is a GOOOOD voice that he has :)

Torchwood..... that makes me think - Dr Who seems like it'd be rich fodder for a theme ?

I would love a Doctor Who challenge. But I am a total fan-girl for the Doctor.
Can't wait for the new season!!!!
