Buddy Reads discussion

We'll read a total of 7 books for this each Reading Sprint. A book a day. The books will be read in the order of the highest votes and so on (or whatever order they'll be written in the next comments). Participants will update their progress each day after reading the book and each book will be discussed on the day that it's read.

You'll update your progress the same way you did for other challenges (e.g. if you read 5 books of out 7-you're progress will be 5/7)

I’ve started A is for Alibi and I really like it so far. I’m not usually into murder mystery type books, but the writing flows so well it makes it interesting and easy to read! I don’t think I’ll be able to finish today, but it looks like tomorrow’s reading is shorter so I’m hoping I can catch up then.

Day 2 (09/10/18):Red Sun Rising

I started Red sun rising. It feels good to read this book again

Oh man, I love this book, it's so good
What I love most is that it's so short and yet it's packed with so much information, suspense and action. So much happens in these short amount of pages!

Finished Red Sun Rising but now I want more of that story!! It would be cool if a full book came out that expands on what happens after the event.

Breakwater

No one started this yet??

Day 4 (11/10/18):Pan

I finally finished A is for Alibi and it was really good!! The ending was a shocker!!

I started Breakwater but haven’t gotten very far :/

2/7 so far

I couldn't fine breakwater or pan :( really wanted to read those ones
But I have the next one ready

Pan was a cute story but a bit darker than I was expecting. I definitely want to read the rest of the series, especially the next one Hook.

Day 5 (12/10/18):The Ocean at the End of the Lane

I’m running a little behind, but I’m a little over halfway done with Ocean at the End of the Lane and it’s amazing so far. True to Neil Gaiman it’s magical, strange, and just so hard to put down!! This one has the added touch of being creepy too, which I’m loving.

Finished Ocean at the End of the Lane and it was seriously so very good!!! I think this may be my new favorite Neil Gaiman book!!! Progress update: 4/7

Day 6 (13/10/18):The Dinner List
Day 7 (14/10/18):How I Live Now

I’ve started The Dinner List and so far it’s unlike anything I’ve ever read before. I’m not sure what to make of it quite yet, but I think I like it. Anyone else start this one?

Most books that I read that have elements of fantasy in them are not subtle like this one. I can almost believe that this really happened and the author just wrote about it down. It’s also got me wondering who my five would be and how that would all play out. I’m anxious to see how the story will unfold and if there’s a lesson to be learned.

Fyi, I finished The Dinner List and I highly recommend it!! It took me longer to read than I thought it would because of how emotional it was. I really hope this author continues to write with as much depth and feeling as this one because it was so good!!!
