What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

So I am looking for a book that I have seen on Goodreads but never read. The story is told in two books, in both books you will find the same story but from a different point of view. Two girls, who were best friends since childhood, did something which was unforgiveable I guess. What they did was to their teacher and one of them had an affair with him. The other one suffers a mental illness and after that it gets worse. The teacher now wants revenge but I guess he is still in love with the one he had an affair with.

The story should be unique because you can see it from both point of views and the secret was very dark.
