Bao is kind of popular even though he keeps to himself. He stays quite most of the time but, you might catch him talking to a teacher or a student that pissed him off. His Chinese accent is strong even though he was basically raised in the USA, his mother moved him and his young sister from China when Bao was 5 and his sister, Mei was 2. Bao may seem heart less, and just a trouble marker but he just has a wall on 24/7. Bao is pretty smart, but people well never know since he doesn't let a lot of people even hear is voice. At least that was before he meet the love of his life.

~Will forever love you both, Jasmine
Jasmine Norman was watching the houses go by. Her mind that drifted back to the final sentences she wrote to her parents just before leaving and eloping with Bao Chen, her boyfriend and soon-to-be husband. As he drove, she couldn't help but wonder if she was making a big mistake by doing this. She had just graduated from high school a few days ago, and she would soon be eighteen. By law, she was an adult and could make up her own decisions. Yet she couldn't help but thing back to the argument she had with her parents the night before.
She had just gotten back home from a date out with Bao when her father called her into the living room. Reluctantly, she paused on her way up to her room and turned in the direction of the living room. Upon entering, she saw her mother sitting on the sofa and her father standing at the mantle place above the fireplace. Her mother motioned for her to come sit beside her which she did.
"We want to talk with you about Bao and you," her father begin.
"What's there to talk about? We're in love." She looked down at her hands in her lap.
Her mother sighed beside her. "We just think you two are moving to fast and that you should take a break from one another."
At this, Jasmine rose abruptly from her seat. "What?"
"You two are moving way to fast." Her father turned his body fully to her.
"No we're not. You two are overreacting again. Bao and I-- we really like each other--"
"You can't like someone in that way such as you are talking about liking Bao, Honey." Her mother said.
All Jasmine got was that her parents didn't want them to be together. Anger and hurt filled every fiber of her body. She found herself clenching her fists at her side. "Just because your first marriage didn't work out doesn't mean Bao and I won't work out."
"Just what do you mean by that young lady?" Her father said.
"Bao asked me to marry him and I said yes" She crossed her arms over one another.
"You're not marrying Bao."
"Yes I am."
"I said no!"
"Honey it would never last." Her mother tried to reason with her.
"I hate you!" She could feel the tears filling her eyes but she refused to allow them to fall. "I hate both of you!" Turning, she ran out of the room.
"Honey!" Her mother called after her, but to no avail.
The turning on of the heater brought Jasmine from her thoughts. She looked over at Bao. His handsome face like a light to her tunnel. They had met over the summer at a beach party. She was with her girlfriends and he was with his boys. They soon met through a mutual friend and that was how they had gotten together.
She pulled her jackie around her and looked back out the window as the car moved toward the one place neither of their parents would ever think to look for them: St. Pauline Church.
(Feel free to change their location of where they are going to get married. I just made up a place)

Bao never thought he would ever think about marriage ever. But here he was driving to get eloped with Jasmine, who was the love of his life. Bao glanced Jas as she looked out the window, he knew it must have been heard for her. Just like it was hard for him. When Jasmine first came in his life, his mother thought of her as a good thing. She was slowly changing her son into a better person. Bao started actually talking more but, soon Bao told his mother that he loved her. His mother's view of the girl changed. He sighed as he kept driving, he hated the thought of taking Jas away from her family. But they wanted her to stop seeing him, which would have fucked him up inside.
"You can't that is just wrong.. You know that." Said Mei, Bao's younger sister. They sat on the floor of her room staring at the ceiling. "I know but, no one wants us together. So what other choice do i have." he said, Mei about everything that went on between him and Jasmine. Mei was really the only person he could trust besides Jas. "Maybe you should listen for a change. And stop thinking that just don't like you." she said as she glanced over at her older brother. He was smart in the books but in life itself he needed help. She smirked at him before she sighed knowing he wasn't going to listen he never did. "Look, whatever you do.. Just make sure your doing it for the right reason." Mei said as she lifted up.
Bao sighed at the memory, he loved his mother and sister. But he couldn't leave a note, he tried multiple times but they all ended up in the trash. Bao glanced over at Jasmine again she was still looking out the window. He placed his free hand on her lap and slightly rubbed it. They were going to be at the church soon.
In last then four minutes Bao pulled into the church's parking lot. He parked his chair and turned it off. He leaned back in his chair and glanced over at Jas. "Are you sure? I would understand if you didn't want to.." he said, his accent all in the air.

Jasmine wasn't Catholic and she assumed Bao wasn't Catholic either, and so the official wedding will have to be pit off until later, after they both gotten jobs and saved up enough money for their dream wedding. For now, they needed the official paperwork to say they were married. That way if anyone had anything to say about it then they could just show their marriage licence.
Jasmine shook her head no at Bao statement. She smiled a genuine smile his way. "I want to marry you Bao. It's just a little nerves. It will pass after we get married." She assured him. She just wished that her parents had supported her decision to marry Bao and didn't see Bao as a bad influence. She took his hands in hers and gave it a small squeeze. "Let's get married. I can't wait to spend our lives together." Releasing his hand, she smiled again and moved to get out of the car. Once outside she walked around to the front waiting for Bao to come to her side before they would both head inside the church.
Will they find a way to make it work as young newlyweds? Or will they end up crawling back to their parents for help?
