(sorry just came back just getting on my pc for now and i'm changing my characters first name :) found a cuter one

Aristeo was taking a nap in one of the train booths not really caring in actually making friends or trying to get out of his comfort zone. He was held back a year because he was suspended due to a fight that he took the blame for. Aristeo never really cared much about embracing the fact that he was a wizard. He had no where to go and no real goal to accomplish. Back in the mundane world he'd sleep over at some shelters and just come back for the school year. He never really gained a solid friendship that would last a lifetime like other foolish students here.

Aurora was still trying to find a seat but she just couldn't find her friend Katherine. She usually just found a nice quiet spot to read any new novel that she had brought from home... home... Aurora didn't know how the hell she slipped out of the academy this year but they were pissed that she somehow kept disappearing for a whole year. She walked past this cart where a really handsome guy was just sleeping there.

Well he was kind of cute and she wouldn't mind probably giving Kat a mental picture about it. The train kind of raddled and she stumbled in her footing on literally fell on top of some guys lap. Shocking the ranting guy and cursing before the chatty brat stepped away.

She looked up and she was a bit taken back seeing the cute guy in front of him. "Sorry."

Aurora's eyebrows arched when he said something about not everyday falling on his lap. She couldn't help but just roll her eyes at how lame that pick up line was. It's not her fault, she's been raised in the streets and she's heard better in a way.

"Ouch." She comments at his pained experience and she reached down to grab her single bag of clothes.

"I do apologize for landing on you, but hopefully i wasn't that heavy." She turns around and sees the handsome guy's blue gaze at us and he looked irked.

Aristeo didn't really like making friends and it's not like he had a 'come talk to me' sign on his forehead. The girl just shook her head when he sees her facial expression. "Aristeo, Gryffindor." He says in a matter of fact tone when the girl starts shifting a little bit.

"Aurora, Slytherin, its nice to meet you but i have a friend that's waiting for me." She mumbles before she excuses herself and dashes off. Aristeo just closed his eyes and layed back down on the booth

Aristeo groaned a bit and he rolled his eyes under his eyelids when he turned around to look at him. "Alright looks like you're trying to find souls to annoy. So i'll entertain your idea of getting to know people." He said as he sat up again and just leaned against the knees before he looked at him.

"Not much really, just go out smoke drink." I tell him and just tilted my head to the side.

Aurora looked at her friend Kat and just went to her side and hugged her. "Hi, sorry it was just... a lot of looking and walking. And a guy that i fell on and is trying to find a friend." She tells her and finally sits down.

"I saw that guy you have a crush on." She whispered to her.

Aristeo just looked at the man that was just talking and trying to have some kind of conversation with him. He just arched his eyebrow when he asks if the alcohol actually tastes good. He just smirked a bit and just shook his head. “I don’t drink it because of the flavor. I drink it because the burning sensation of it keeps me soothed and the numbing effect has its perks.” He replied before he reached over to grab a cig and opened the window so he could smoke.

Aurora just blushed a little when Kat asked her what Aristeo was doing. “Well he was sleeping and being a little antisocial.” She tells her and smiled a little bit when she sits down. And actually lays down on the couch and takes a breather for a bit. “How come you never tried to actually have a conversation with the man?”

I looked at my dear friend Kat and i felt for her when she said that she just didn't feel that she was the most social and she got nervous. I mean i wouldn't blame her, the guy was a major get away from me sign. "Well i think it's safe to say that he doesn't care much about the houses and they're stigma behind them. I mean he did get suspended an entire year for beating to a bloody pulp a gryffindor?" I tell her and just sat up to go and sit next with her.

"I mean... you do want to talk to him at some point before the school year ends." I tell her.

Aristeo

I looked at the guy that kept on asking why questions. Why would i drink? Why would i smoke? Why do i want to have this escaping feeling instead of just facing my problems. I take a nice inhale of the nicotine and i puffed the smoke out dramatically before i looked at him

"It's fun Alex from Hufflepuff, sometimes those things make you feel great and it makes you feel like you're having fun. How about instead of judging you should try it some time." I tell him

I looked a the poor guy that is full of nerves as he tries to say that he wouldn't that there's a possible way for him to screw up a drink and a smoke. I arched my eyebrow at him and just shook my head. "You do know that i'm smoking a regular cig not an actual joint right?" I asked and just grabbed into my coat and pulled out a flask

"Go ahead just a sip, it's whiskey... honey whiskey. Tastes good." I tell him

Aurora

"Well what if he's the one that you don't like? You have this idolized notion of him that you don't know if maybe he's not that great of a guy? Maybe you need to actually talk to him and possibly just burst off that crush." I tell her and just blush a bit when i remember she telling me about the guy.

"And... yeah i fell on top of him but... he kind of flirted but i don't know how i reacted and i think... i screwed it up."

Aristeo

Wow this guy is really just a goody guy. "Dude you're in Quidditch, how are you so lacking in backbone?" I tell him and just took a swig of it myself like nothing before i gave it back to the guy.

"It's not that bad, the honey helps with the breath and the burn." I tell him. Just so he could try alcohol for once i don't want the guy to drink it all either.

Aurora

"Don't say it like that! You're making it seemed like i just fell in love with a cute blue eyed man. That just took my breath away for a second." I tell her and just gulped a bit and tried to keep it together right now.

"Well if you want to go meet them i wouldn't object." But the problem was... that i'm not that sweet

Aurora

"I barely know the guy i'm not saying that i fell in love with the guy but i really do want to get to know him a little more." I tell her blushing a little bit when she looks pretty determined to do so. "Okay okay let's go. I'll just go in with the pretense of getting to know the guy." I said ushering her out.

Aristeo

I looked back at the guy and just nodded my head when i leaned in and drank the rest of my flask. I just smiled a little bit. "Yeah once you get the hang of the drinks you'll find your favorite. Some girls are actually wine drinkers." I tell him just laying back down on the seat.

Aristeo

"No i like straight vodka." I explained to him as i took a sip of the whiskey. "But sadly at the school their pretty strict. And especially because i have a red record. They're trying to keep their eyes on me." I tell him when i hear some sort of commotion going on outside of the door.

I get up from my seat and go to open it when i see two girls just talking and discussing something about nerves when they both look at me.

"Can i help you?" I asked and i see the dirty blonde looking at me then at Alex. She just goes over to his side and kisses him straight on the lips.

"Oh."

Aristeo

Well that was quite eventful she just fell on him not a couple of minutes ago and now she was just kissing him. The girl didn't seem like a bad kisser so i guess Alex from Hufflepuff wasn't going to get too upset about it.

I turned to look at the shy little red head that was telling me her names. Do i really have a 'get to know me' sign on my head? If that's the case then i really need to fix something about myself that was making me so approachable. But then again... She was being nice and she is a girl/

"Hello Kat, Im Aristeo and that's Alex of Hufflepuff." I tell her pointing at the blushing guy now.

Aurora

I pulled away from his lips feeling my own cheeks bluhsing bright red. Okay i did it because my friend needed a reason to be in this section to be able to talk to her crush. And well the guy isn't that bad looking but he just smiles at me and i feel like i have him speechless.

"Thanks.. uh it's how we say hi back where i live." I said not really knowing what to say. I mean what am i french?

"Yeah, considering i'm not wearing any scarves or emblems right now i must be really infamous for you to know what house i'm in." I tell her giving her a little smile when i see that everyone kind of made a group out of it. I guess it would be rude of me to just get up and leave.

"You want to sit down? I think i hear the trolley coming by." I tell her offering the seat next to me, since the other one was occupied.

Aurora

I blushed a bit and looked away from him when he says to remind him to say hi to me more often. Oh god now he's going to think that i'm a weirdo. No one in the U.K does this at all. French people well... the only frenchie in school is a senior and she was a major slut.

"I'm from Texas." I said biting my lip and just groaning internally. "Actually i live in one of the border cities not really a southern style girl."

I looked back at him when he asked me when exactly did i move away from Texas and into the proximity of the UK and i gulped a little bit. I didn't want anyone to know my true history because then i'll get teased by Slytherin just pushing the fact that i shouldn't even be in their house.

"Private school, my parents got a job being professors at Oxford." I said kicking myself for lying and i look at Kat and give her a go with it look

"Chocolate blossoms is fine Kat thanks."

Aristeo

I looked at the girl that was being really nice to me and she seemed to have a liking to me considering that i was still smoking and drinking in front of her when she asks me what do i like about the trolley.

"I am not a fan of most of the stuff but i do enjoy some caramel popcorn every once in a while. I still have the stash I got this morning." The key word was caught. I don't have money for any of these things.

Aurora

Yeah i caught the way that Kat saw me and honestly she's literally the only being in this freaking school that knows i'm a foster kid in the states in Texas! I mean I don't even know why i got plucked to attend such prestigious school as Hogwarts let alone with no money at all! Just scholarship money that one of the teachers is sponsoring me.

"Well aren't you asking a lot about me Alex from Hufflepuff. Why don't you tell me a little about yourself? I mean the only thing that makes you familiar is that i've seen you in the Quiddish team." I tell him

Aristeo

"You don't mind my smoking or my drinking? Mr. Alex over there was giving me a full on presentation of what damages these can cause me and getting feedback on why i keep on trying these addictive bad habbits." I said when she asks me about my drink and i offered it to her.

"Honey whiskey, really good and it doesn't linger on your breath." I tell her.

Aurora

"Yeah i get what you mean that you fell in love with Quiddich. I mean i don't remember you that well but not that i see your face i can connect it with the uniform." I tell him blushing a little bit when he just smiles at me. He really is very tender and kind which is a nice change of guy compared to the ones from slytherin

"Sorry that we've so far beaten your team." I whispered to him kind of feeling bad because i know we tend to be really agressive.

Aristeo

I arched my eyebrow a bit surprised to see the girl actually taking a big gulp of the drink. I mean she makes a face when it slowly simmers her throat but nothing to really be alarmed about if i'm concerned. "Yeah not bad." I said looking at her when all of a sudden you hear a whistle and the train going to a stop. The announcer telling us that it was time to get off..

"Well then nice meeting you Kat, i'll see you around." I tell her getting up to grab my suitcase and guided everyone out

Aurora

I smiled just a little bit when i listened to him talking about his love for the sport. I never really heard anyone talk about Quiddish the way he does. He really likes to play and have fun which is good but i worry when he comes up against our house. I mean Gryffindor and Ravenclaw might be good at sportsmanship but ... I wanted to get to know him more but the whistle had rung and we had to make ourselves home in our dorms.

"Bye." I whispered to him when he tells me that he would be looking forward to our next greeting. I blushed just a bit and didn't think i had a good come back.

"I would properly say good bye but you wouldn't be able to take it." I teased him back when i urged myself to go to my Kat's side and briefly looked back at Alex and went away with Kat. I technically had a pet or a guardian but she kind of wonders. Kiara is very playful. I walked to get our stuff and walk out with Kat. Of course the freshmen were taken separately and well we had more leverage to actually do whatever we wanted including getting ready for the feast.

I walk over to our side of the castle and right away it feels like i'm a stranger all over again.

I get to my bunkbed and i looked back at Kat. "So how are you? How was the love connection with Aristeo? Which by the way you're welcome." I tell her getting my bag out and just looked at my clothes.

Aurora

I get ready with the most basic clothes that i have that i really feel more comfortable when i moved around. I wasn't as wealthy nor did i have the money means to actually. So when it's off time, I don't like using my robe when i don't need to. I just went ahead and left the bathroom with my normal clothes. Sure i get teased at already because the trio slytherin Lady's really like picking at me. I looked at Kat when she tells me how i felt about this year.

"I'd like to think that this year you're finally going to get laid." I whispered the last part and i held her hand in mine and walked with her.

"Come on hopefully we can actually eat together with your man." i tell her.

Aurora

"It was the the first thing that came to my mind. I mean i couldn't say that i was French because i don't have a french accent i have an american accent." I tell her and just blushed a bit when i rolled my eyes at her comment that i was the one that was going to get laid.

"i doubt it, i mean that guy is really more into being friends with anyone than having that one person you know. At least with Aristeo you'll know if he likes you because he doesn't hang with anyone." i tell her and just guide her out of the room to go and eat. Perhaps even see one of the guys

I walk with Kat right next to her and of course she doesn't know that all the slytherin girls are looking at her and me like we were this odd mix. Of course it's mostly because no one knows where i come from or who i am. Apparently everyone in slytherin knows everyone because it's all about blue bloods and silver bloods. Which quite frankly why on earth did the hat choose me to get to that house?

"Well i don't know you've been crushing on that Aristeo for a while now. Last i heard that's something called love at first sight darling. I kind of want that, i want the first time i meet someone to be this magnetic pool and when we kiss it's like poof! fireworks." I tell her but i don't tell her... that i felt that with Alex but... i needed to be realistic here.

"Oh corn bread!" I said excited grabing some bread and apple cider.

"Well i don't know... I always figured love was this myth that guys say to girls to get laid but... after i found out i was a witch then i thought why can't love be real too." I explained to her when i turned and i see that Aristeo was siting down on the corner of the gryffindor table and he was minding his own business. Until his gaze lingers and finds us and he just looks at us.

"Uh i'm from texas darling, this is a bread deserving of kings in my land." i teased her and i poked her side a bit. "BTW he's so looking at us." I whispered to her. I mean it's the first day and classes won't begin until next monday.

(okay its okay just wanted to get the feel of your schredule is all)

I literally see my dear friend going into this frantic rant of not knowing what she would do or what she needed to do. I turn around and see Aristeo already looking away and just eating his food before i looked back at my friend that was still deciding of what to do.

"Kat you need to take a chill pill and go just say hi see what he's doing. Do not make me go over there and kiss some random person again." I tell her turning around slightly to see the guys he was with and shiver a bit.

"My options are either a guy that looks like he hasn't taken a shower in forever or a girl that has a mustache." I tell her

(Ah that's sweet lol sorry at around this time I'm working til for another hour))

I looked at her blinking a little bit in disbelief. I was not going to talk to a guy that i didn't even know he believed i was alive. I'm actually almost one hundred percent sure that he had no knowledge of my own existence. I mean he was the type of guy that wanted to be friends with the entire world... i was the kind of girl the world turned their back on.

"You go girl." I cheered her on for a bit and just watched her walk over to Aristeo. I see him looking up at her and acknowledge her before he shrugged his shoulders but he did give her a ghost of a smile. Guess that guy also has his own history to deal with.

I hear some snickering and i feel someone accidentally bump me. I swear the minute that Kat leaves me i have a target on my back. I just grab another corn bread and a water bottle before i snuck out over to the stairwell closer to the library. No slytherin would show up here.

Aristeo

"Sure, I was wondering if i scared you. I noticed that you were turning red and shaking like a bunny when i saw you." I tell her as i bit on the turkey leg for a bit but i did offer her to sit down next to me. I mean the way i see it was that i couldn't be a dick when she actually made an effort to come towards me and talk to me.

"So how's your first day so far."

((Mm how would Alex run into aurora?

I see her trying to maintain a conversation with me and i wasn't going to cut her off or anything like that. I listened to what she had to say and just smirked when she asks me about me.

"I'm not sure, just know that i'm taking some junior senior level classes and that's it. I have this... familiar coming and guiding me." I tell her and just shrugged my shoulders a bit

"You are a junior?" I asked her.

Aurora

I was just munching and drinking on some water wondering if Kiara was probably going to show up and keep me company or something. I hear someone calling for me and i looked up and see that it was Alex

"Eep." I yelp jumping back and i just didn't know what to say...

"Uhh well... uhh... I'm not hungry. Sorry i thought you were going to greet me like i greeted you." I said blushing

Aurora

"I... uh ... thanks for telling me that you like my lips but it's not what i'm trying to get at." Oh god it was already too late to tell him that it wasn't a greeting from texas. He asks me about me being alone in the staiwell and i forget that he doesn't know about me and the way i work. or at least the way i get treated.

"If you don't mind being the target of bullying because you're with me then sure." I whispered to him

Aristeo

"I'm actually not used to talking to anyone. I don't have friends and it's not like people want to be friends with me. Everyone thinks that i am this savage being that only punches things when it gets pissed." I explained to her and just smiled a little bit when i took a bite out of the food and i looked back at her.

"Why are you interested in being friends with me?"

Aurora

"That's the thing about you Alex... you can't be friends with everyone. You're only showing parts of you to each and every single friend. And that's... I find that hard to see that you're strong enough to stomach the way i'm treated." I tell him and just stand up not wanting to give him a fight or anything but...

"I'm sorry but... i think you're living in a pink cloud. You didn't even know about me and i can assure you that i'm not the only one." I tell him as i look down at my hands

Aristeo

"I seem like a cool guy?" I asked her and just tilt my head to the side a bit when she tells me that i don't see like a savage for her. I give her a little bit of a smile and just nod my head.

"Well thank you for seeing me in that light but at the same time i do have this heir of being a brute." I tell her and just grinned a little bit when i grabbed my flask and sneaked a drink

I take in everything he says, the last thing i wanted was to have him thinking that i was viewing him as someone that was weak and that he was frail. I just stood up in the middle of his rant so we were at eye level when i take in a moment for him to take a breath of his ranting.

"I'm not saying your weak Alex, I'm saying you're going around trying to get to know everyone... it almost seems like you're running." I tell him and i pulled my shirt a little bit up so he could see the burn scar.

"The world rejected me a long time ago Alex." I said biting back tears as i turned around and started walking up the stairs

Aristeo

"Fair enough i guess everyone has their own definition of what a brute really means." I said giving her a really valid point of what she was trying to say.

"Well it's good to know that there's someone as vanilla as you that doesn't see me as the big bad wolf." I whispered to her and just looked around at the table.

"This place really gives this claustrophobic feeling."

Aurora

I turned around when i hear him still talking and more or less ranting at me about how i didn't want to just fight back. Not give up in trying to know the world. I just looked at him when he just has this passion behind him. I know he's running from his own self but... i don't sense that him wanting to get to know me is bull shit. I take a step down from the stairs to be a little closer to him

"That's not how we say hi in texas... at least not the part of texas that i'm from." I tell him trying to be completely honest with him, he deserved that.

Aristeo

"Oh i'd figured you were joined at the hip by your friend back there. I mean she does seem to be your ride or die kind of friend." I tell her and just smiled a little when she's trying to get to know me a little better. You could see that she was trying to come up as this casual person.

I reached out and carefully tucked her hair away from her face a little bit before i smiled at her. "If you have questions for me just ask."

“For the sake of my friend. She has a major crush on Aristeo but she didn’t think she had a valid reason to go.” I tell him and I felt my own blush creeping up when he smiled at me. But I could tell he was genuinely curious as to why I acted out like that. I gulped a little ashamed right now but I looked at my hands nervously

“And last I saw you I think you thought I hated our encounter. Our cute meet and we’ll i guess I wanted to say sorry as well.” I tell him and just looked at my hands.

“I greet with a kiss on the cheek. It’s a Mexican heritage thing. And a culture thing.”

Aristeo

I looked at her blush and i thought it was cute, she was the kind of girl that was this little fluffy bunny. I just wanted to see her and just ran my fingers through her fur. Just see how she'll react with being with me. Just beside her and tried to keep it together right next to me.

I looked back at her when she asked about my abilities and hobbies. "Well you know... i am not a party person but i don't know what i have to do. I mean right now I tend to someone." I tell her

"Well, i take care of someone back in the forbidden forest." I whispered to her the last part because the last thing i want was for people to hear that i am still going to the forest without anyone's permission.

"He's been on his own forever and well i found him and i'm taking care of him." I tell her not wanting to be cryptic with her but its the best thing i could do at the moment.

Aurora

"Well my friend kind of gave me the speech on how it's not alwas the best thing to lie to someone, for an excuse to kiss them." I tell him and i just shrugged my shoulders a little bit. "Honestly i think the hat made a mistake placing me with them. I mean... the more i see it the more i realize i am nothing like them." I tell him just touching my shoulders a little bit

"Besides are you sure it's fine to hang out with me? I mean you just ranted on me and i kissed you. Don't think your girl is going to be okay with that."

Aristeo

I looked at her when she seems really excited and not all scared at the fact that i'm basically telling her that i go to that spot almost regularly. I cleared my throat a bit when she tells me if he's okay but giving out this connotation that she might things it's a normal man or man being to say.

"Well he's... i think he misses me right now. I mean i gave him a lot of food for him to be able to hybernate and i could only find some spells that took me to him but.. ihave my own problems in the real world." I tell her and just looked around. Grabbing a few turkey legs and shoving them in my bag.

"You want to come with me? You can bring your friend if you want?" I asked her. I mean i din't want her to feel on the spot

"Yeah he's not." I said trying to be vague while i still could in the area. I mean we're still under the school's roof and you never know who is listening in.

"Oh i just thought it would be appropriate to ask i mean, you really do look like you've been friends for a while now." I tell her and just get off the table before i see some seniors kind of doing this stare off with slytherin. Really not looking forward for this stupid shit.

Aurora

I looked at him smiling a little when he tells me that he just wants to be a friend to me. I guess he really doesn't know what it means to have a deeper connection than just being friends. But i figured it wouldn't be bad to... I leaned in towards him and just gave him a light peck on the lips before i pulled away

"That wasn't a greeting just wanted to clarify that i don't feel the same way as you. But... if you're still interested in getting to know me... come with me." I tell him thinking that i just needed a neutral place.

Aristeo

I looked back and saw that she had found her friend in the middle of us moving when i see that she was with Alex. I arched my eyebrow and i knew that blush more than anyone. I was raised in the ghetto but i don't think social status mattered. That flush was definitely him being smitten.

"You want to come too Alex from Hufflepuff." I ask him, i mean he introduced himself like that and until he says not to i will call him like that. I see her friend, Aurora look at her friend and she just shrugged

"Sure." She says walking down the stairs and going to her side.

I hear the girls talking amongst each other when they start asking about where we going and why would Aurora get mad. We all walk until we were at the edge of forbidden forest. When of course Alex is strongly objecting of not going to the forest.

"Uh yeah and last i checked there's been countless of forest parties in there that you probably missed out on. But many seniors and juniors are qualified to be in there. And we have an elemental witch we'll be fine." I said pointing at Aurora when she blushes a little and looks away. Oh that's right she's not really suppose to use it here.

"Look I have someone waiting for me in there, and he's my... familiar i guess you can say. Besides... when can you see a real life nightingale." I said going to the edge of the forest and taking out my wand casting the spell to let a light shine and i start to go in

I looked back at them and Kat seemed really fascinated by him and i could see Aurora looking at it as well. "He's friendly as long as he doesn't feel like his life is in danger." I tell them when i put his smooth skin.

"I call him Tarzan." I tell them when Tarzan looks up at me and head butts me huffing at me.

"I said i was sorry." I tell him when he swats me with his tail and he goes over to the girls and nudges both of them. Just catching their scent.

"Alex from Hufflepuff you need to calm down, nothing will attack you if you keep your nerves down." I tell him

Aristeo

I looked back at Alex that was just trying not to be freaked right now. I let out a sigh when gaze him kind of a side eye and just shrugged my shoulders a bit.

"Come on, live a little." I tell him when Tarzan goes over to his side and swats him also in the ass before he settles himself between the girls. Aurora smiled and looked over at Alex and let out a sigh.

"It's okay Alex... no one is going to get hurt." She whispers to him when she gently runs her hand along Tarzan's scales.
