Lance Morcan | 3058 comments As they watched and listened to the recorded speech, the orphans noted something which the vast majority of political commentators, and certainly the public at large, had never picked up on. That something was that President Bush subtly mentioned the phrase New World Order several times throughout his speech. –The Orphan Factory

Excerpt from The Orphan Conspiracies: 29 Conspiracy Theories from The Orphan Trilogy:

NWO came to some prominence in 1990 when President George H. W. Bush said in a speech to Congress, “Now, we can see a new world coming into view. A world in which there is the very real prospect of a new world order”.

Conspiracy theorists claimed this was the President announcing – albeit in code – the elite were one step closer to creating a one world government that would dominate the planet and eliminate all dissenters, starting with the Iraqi people.

Harry Whitewolf | 1745 comments As you guys pointed out in your Orphan Conspiracies book, the commonly held notion that it says 'New World Order' in Latin on the dollar bill isn't the best translation. Rather it's 'New Order of the Ages'.

Decades before Bush's speech, in 1934, the Freemason Henry Wallace, who was Franklin Roosevelt's vice-president, said this:

"It will take a more definite recognition of the Grand Architect of the Universe before the apex stone (the capstone- All Seeing Eye- of the pyramid) is finally fitted into place and this nation in the full strength of its power is in position to assume leadership among the nations in inaugurating the New Order of the Ages." (From Statesmanship and Religion, Round table Press, 1934)

Henry Wallace and Franklin Roosevelt were the ones who put the All Seeing Eye pyramid and its 'NWO motto' on the dollar bill.

To make sense of the significance of the missing capstone of the pyramid and the significant ties of ancient orders to present day Freemasonry, the book The Hiram Key is a good starting point.)

Stephen Martino | 49 comments The New World Ordered had been mentioned by many world leaders most notably both President Bush's and the Clintons. Many NWO books non-fictional books give a broad list of quotes ranging back over a hundred years.

Very true Stephen...although I suspect with some of those quotes the NWO reference was used loosely and not always according to today's general/assumed understanding of the term.

Daniel | 2 comments John F. Kennedy made a speech about the New World Order 10 days before he was killed.

The high office of the president has been used to foment a plot to destroy America’s freedom, and before I leave office I must inform the citizens of this plight.”
- John F. Kennedy November 12, 1963.

Considering his father helped fund the Nazi's, I believe Bush is involved in the NWO. Because of this, his comments weren't as threatening.

Mikhayla Gracey A few weeks ago I had an argument with an Illuminati-NWO fanatic who insisted that president Obama is guilty of announcing the coming of the New World Order and that he welcomed such a coming with open arms. This is precisely the agenda of these Illuminati conspiracy theorists, to create a mindless, seditious uprising against governments and our leaders. I'm not convinced the Bush family should not be considered dangerous, but allow me to present the link I gave to this coworker of mine: http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-met...

message 7: by Stephen (new)

Stephen Martino | 49 comments Great video. However, I do tend to believe that Obama is a NWO sympathizer. With the vast expansion of government, decreased individual freedoms and increased American reliance on the US government for their sustenance, a NWO already seems to be underway. Plus, with such entities as the Bildeberg group and the Bohemian Grove, it seems as if the world's fate rests upon the super elite, such as Soros, that are already dictating international finance and governmental policies.

message 8: by James, Group Founder (new)

James Morcan | 11378 comments Agreed Stephen.
Obama is no more for The People than Bush was. He's a wolf in sheep's clothing.

One cannot get anywhere near the presidency position without kissing the right asses and bending over backwards for banks, big pharma and the military industrial complex. There's just too much money and power linked to that position for the global elite to let any decent person get a shot at getting into the Oval Office.

The problem I have with deciding that all of our presidents since Kennedy are NWO sympathizers is that this is precisely the propaganda of the Illuminati conspiracy theorists who I believe are the Illuminati, and pushing for a Fascist world dictatorship. First they need to motivate us to dismantle our governments so that they can step in. The link I posted demonstrated that the NWO speech by president Obama was a fake. It was created. The question should be WHY?!

John Todd, one of the first Illuminati nuts, even declared that Kennedy was a high ranking Illuminati leader, and his assassination was staged. Why so much nuttiness? Because it hides the fact that they have been here since our intelligence agencies recruited them and gave them cover and their own radio station: "Radio Liberty" where they spew Christian extremist Illuminati conspiracy theory even today.

Perhaps you are right, but that doesn't mean every president has been aware that they are being manipulated.

Robert Wright (rhwright) | 30 comments The Powers That Be barely attempt to hide or deny their influence any more.

What always scared me most about Bush I, was that here was the former head of the CIA (our "secret police") now running the country. And no one seemed to bat an eye.

If the ex-head of the KGB were in charge of Russia, that would be news. It's creepy enough with Putin (ex-KGB, but not the head) in charge of Russia and seemingly doing a great Bond villain imitation.

Bush (& Bush family) have much stronger ties to the intelligence community and it gets so little play in the mainstream.

I agree - a former head of CIA becoming the President is frightening especially given the CIA's well-documented nefarious activities.

James Morcan | 11378 comments Naim wrote: "maybe someone would like to define both the terms conspiracy and Illuminati in their own words, so that I know what they're talking about? ..."

Problem is almost everyone has a different definition of the Illuminati and the whole thing gets watered down to meaningless stuff.

Also, I agree with much of what you say regarding the idea that one group rules the world - it's all too simplistic really. As soon as I hear any conspiracy theorist talking about the Illuminati it's usually a red flag that they don't know what they're talking about.

You might wanna check out the other posts in this New World Order section of this group to see detailed discussions about the history or so-called history of the Illuminati.

I am also interested in your insights from the perspective of your Native American Indigenous background (which I seem to recall you mentioned previously?). Correct me if I'm wrong.

I sometimes wonder whether many of these theories like New World Order etc, are predominantly from a Caucasian perspective and that maybe other cultures see things differently?

Maybe there are other cultures' perspectives that should be added into the equation in order for the planet to become more fair?

I'm just thinking aloud here really and don't even know the right words to use, but if indeed you do have an indigenous background then I for one would appreciate any insights you can share about the world in the 21st Century.

Thanks Naim,
James

I agree Edward. Anyone taking the presidential office should be granted informed consent. Have you noticed how horribly grey they become their last term?

President Obama literally called the military leaders a cult in his State of the Union, brave man. Consider taking the office of president without having ever even heard some of the conspiracy ramblings we discuss here. Do you think Obama had considered the consequences of MKULTRA, or the subjects (people) involved before he took office? A president really should. Regardless of their initial opinion regarding Illuminati-NWO nuts going in, they must come to realize that nuts may be nuts, but they are not always safe and therefore should be taken seriously regardless.

I think if I were to take the office of president, the first thing I would do is demand an investigation, cleansing and restructuring of the CIA and military intelligence. Human atrocities committed will result in convictions of crimes against humanity. Let's weed our own garden before we assume the right to point fingers at the corruption in other countries.

Agreed Robert. I find it frightening that we granted anyone with a history in the CIA presidential powers, and then we did again with his son? I find it a bit frightening that, politics as they are, this could happen. I'm not a Bush fan. Their family has dirty hands from all sorts of mud holes.

Naim,

You have great gut instinct. "...designed to create controversy" is exactly what it is, but it is more than that. These nuts spawn domestic terrorists like Timothy McVeigh, and they are linked to Nazi ideology, the Aryan Nation, and much more. The nuttier the controversy, the hope they have that intelligent people will not pay attention to their victims. It certainly does make it a challenge to sift the difference between those nuts that are filling the information highway with provocative trash, and those who are attempting to tattle on them because they are not just nuts, they are dangerous nuts.

Mikhayla Gracey I too believe that the Native American spirituality has a lot to offer on our way to a peaceful future. The White Buffalo Woman is an amazing legend that needs to be told. It is time for her return. If we, the people of earth, come to understand as deeply our connection to each other, and the earth, the only option is peace and proper stewardship of Earth.

James Morcan | 11378 comments 2min video of President George Bush Senior's New World Order Speech Sept 11 1991 https://www.goodreads.com/videos/8563...

Daddy Bush talks "peace" and "freedom" as he triumphantly announces a new war/invasion (this time in Iraq against Saddam Hussein). This marked the start of the First Gulf War in 1991.

This speech was exactly 10 years to the day of 9/11...

9/11/1991 ... 9/11/2001

David Elkin | 508 comments The NWO is a phrase as useless as "they" did it. It meant something long ago but not now. It has been mutilated and bastardized so much, it means very little. Right now conspiracy is the big use, of many different ilks, from corporate war profits, the 1% elite, the lizard aliens and other unlikely thoughts.

Here are some early uses of the term from wiki
New World Order, New world order or The New World Order may refer to:

New World Order (conspiracy theory), a conspiracy theory referring to the emergence of a totalitarian one world government.
New world order (politics), any period of history evidencing a dramatic change in world political thought and the balance of power
New world order (Bahá'í), a body of teachings of the Bahá'í Faith
