No one size fits all solution. Depends on the gravity of the offense and the nature of the crime. Ranging from rehab if possible to life imprisonment. Don't make me comment with my gut on matters I haven't studied.

Repeat offenders prove themselves incapable of rehabilitation and castration (chemical or otherwise) has proven not to work. I don't generally support the death penalty, but for repeat child molesters -- they destroy a child's life. The damage goes on forever and probably into future generations. Death is the only way to stop that.
