Nicholas Hall is a uprising soccer player and just your average human encyclopedia in his spare time. Nicholas along with his partner in crime Coby take down obstacles like they are passing a defenders with ease. That quickly becomes a very hardy task for Nicholas due to his crush. Just the thought of her makes him frezze in his track just as if he was stuck in quick sand. All these words in his head but when he is with her those soon fly out the window leaving him in drought dying trying to spit out words. Nicholas slowly falls apart throught the book right after he sustaines an injury taking him out a few weeks and having to suffer another blow with the divorce of his parents. Nicholas has to push himself not only for himeself but all the complications trying to pulverize him
