I have been reading a few articles and posts that I have found to be great "primers" for studying and learning about the fundamental issues, definitions and bases of Sentientism:
Ludwig Raal's article:
Progress, Animal Welfare, and Our Moral Circle
Jamie Woodhouse
Jamie Woodhouse's site and articles:
Sentientism – Raising Awareness
and
Humanism Needs an Upgrade: The Philosophy that Could Save the World
In addition to substantial readings, Jamie lists the various online groups where people can follow along including ones on twitter, reddit, etc.
