2025 Reading Challenge discussion

This is my first time participating in a group like this. Thanks for having me! Last year, I'd given myself, originally, a goal of 25 books. That number kept going up and I ended up finishing 2018 with 71 books read. So, I've set myself with a starter goal of 75 for this year. But I'm 6 books ahead of schedule, so I'm pretty sure I'll be finishing with more than that haha

I looked at what books you and I have in common. Although it's not a book I've read this year, John Dies at the End is incredible, you should read it. I've read it (and its sequels) multiple times over the years and they're always just as good as the first time.

The Fixes was surprisingly good for a YA novella.

The books I love usually rely heavily on the characters within, moreso than plot, so its hard to recommend things haha
