I thoroughly enjoyed this. I read half of it but since I also have it as an ebook, I got it to read out loud when I had stuff to do but wanted to keep reading. It made great company when walking to. Near the end I just kept it on read out loud as I do not like reading a screen. I would read along sometimes but found my attention wanting to go elsewhere as I was reading books in between this biography. You can only read so much until your head hurts or eyes feel tired.

Even though I read at least a good 70% (even if it is with read aloud on but following along) I found it very interesting. I love how it is written not as a biography but as memoir almost of 2 people. You were not just reading about Freddie but about Peter as well as he was with him till the very end. Literally.
You felt like it was very personal, like you were talking about Freddie with Peter over a cup of tea. I enjoyed it. I feel I would have enjoyed it more if it were not out of print so I could hold the hard copy in my hand. This is one I will try to keep until the very end digitally. I enjoyed it very much.

If you are a Queen fan and have not learned about the Great Freddie Mercury for who he really was, this is the book to pick up. Out of all the biographies made of Freddie, this is the one that will deem most true as itnwas literally by his right hand man. By a guy who was with him from the very start of Queen to very end and had been like Freddie's personal assistant. Read it. You won't regret it.
