I gladly recommend The Ruins of Gorlan and Theft of Swords and The Palace Job. They are all series, so if you like them, your next book will be easy to find.

Oh, thank you for the links! I was looking to see if something similar had been asked before, but I guess I didn't look back enough! :)

Those all look really intriguing! The Palace Job especially looks up my alley with the ensemble cast thing. (I love the show Leverage; the title and description makes me think of a fantasy version of that.) Do you know if it's straight-up humor or if there's some emotional stakes as well? Either is fine; I'm just curious what to expect. Thanks so much for the recs!
