This looks good. I think I will give the beginners level a go myself ☺️
I am doing this challenge! I actually posted it on my own group to encourage others as well. We're going to do it as an unofficial-official summer challenge on there and keeping track of our progress.

Just completed #9 (different format - audio) - Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid. One of the best audiobooks I've ever listened to! Excellent cast that just perfectly interpreted the author's writing. And the book was really interesting. And I give the author a ton of credit for coming up with her own lyrics and incorporating them within the book as though they were rock standards. My only criticism was I felt the ending was a bit quiet. Overall, though, it was a great experience! 4.5 stars1/21

Cool - there are 2 of you doing the expert level? I thought it looked hard! Good luck 👏👏👏I’m doing very well on my beginners tasks - 4 down, 8 to go 📚
I'm doing the expert level because I cannot stop myself:) I just completed #3 (one sitting) - The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory. Wow, this book was exactly what I needed to read last night! As a "curvy" girl devoted to my public service job who finally gave up on dating, it was so lovely seeing someone who was like me on the page. Guillory's characters aren't perfect and have their own baggage, but it is told with a deft hand that slowly reveals their layers as they learn them about each other. It's not pie in the sky where everything magically works out, but it's real and yet still has a happy ending. And I loved the discussions of at-risk youth - so spot on!!!! Definitely worth reading! Guillory has cemented her place as a favorite and I'm going to read all of her stuff from now on! 5 stars2/21

Just completed #21 (subject I know little about) - The Oregon Trail: A New American Journey by Rinker Buck. I'm really glad I read this book! It was much more layered and introspective than I originally expected. I felt like I was having a great, leisurely, 400-page conversation with an interesting uncle. And in the midst of that conversation, I reflected, learned a lot about Trail History and being out west, and was immensely entertained. I know have added new destinations to my bucket list (but not from a covered wagon!). I received this book as a free giveaway in exchange for my honest review. Definitely worth reading! 4.5 stars3/21

The Velvet Rage: Overcoming the Pain of Growing Up Gay in a Straight Man's World
Just completed #4 (most read on Goodreads) - The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I thought this would be a salacious, Hollywood tale, and it was, but then it took a hard left and stole my heart. I loved the characters! I loved how the author wove so many truths about women into the narrative in so many different ways and for so many different types of women. And the writing was fabulous! It's going to take me awhile to get over this one. Definitely worth reading! 5 stars4/21
Looks very interesting. As I'm in Australia, I think I may save this for the Southern Hemisphere Spring/Summer! That'll give me enough time to attempt to finish the other four prompt based challenges I'm trying at the moment.
I do have a heap of challenges from previous years that I'd like to try too, so I'll see how I go.

Just completed #7 (recommended by friend) - Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. I really enjoyed the author's descriptions of nature and how connected the main character was with her marsh. I liked how the chapters bounced back and forth between current time and the past. I found some of the story a bit far-fetched. Definitely worth reading. 4 stars5/21
Just completed #8 (co-authored book) - Between a Heart and a Rock Place: A Memoir by Pat Benatar and co-writer. I really enjoyed learning about Pat Benatar, her career, and the rock industry that she helped change forever. I was not a big fan of the writing, but the information included, her views, and the description of her relationship with Neil Giraldo were definitely worth it. Worth reading. 3.5 stars6/21

"It Takes Two" - I am currently reading Theodore Roosevelt for the Defense: The Courtroom Battle to Save His Legacy by Dan Abrams and David Fisher.
"Wheel of Format" - undecided, but possibly a Shakespeare play.
"New Voices" - undecided
"Past Love" - The Secret Garden, which I can't seem to get enough of even though I've lost count of the number of times I've reread it since I was a child.
"Armchair Traveler" - undecided, but because I basically want to go any and everywhere, this shouldn't be difficult.
As for the additions,
"Stay Awhile" - I plan on reading Elizabeth the Queen: The Life of a Modern Monarch
"Stranger than Fiction" - undecided, but seeing as I love science and narrative nonfiction, this shouldn't be difficult.
"Continental Drift" - I just finished The Food Explorer: The True Adventures of the Globe-Trotting Botanist Who Transformed What America Eats. The book tells the story of David Fairchild, who visited every arable continent (before air travel!) in search of new crop and ornamental plants and varietals.

Just completed Theodore Roosevelt for the Defense: The Courtroom Battle to Save His Legacy for "It Takes Two."I've also decided on Bottle of Lies: The Inside Story of the Generic Drug Boom for "Stranger than Fiction" and will be starting it today.
Just completed #5 (on TBR for over a year) - The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer. I loved this book! I want to be friends with everyone in the book (except Adelaide), and I have added the Channel Islands to my list of places that I must see soon. It's so fascinating to me that an author can so firmly establish multiple characters in different voices, and this is done so well through letters, telegrams, and journal notes. Definitely worth reading! 5 stars7/21
Just completed #6 (different culture) - Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan. The thing I most enjoyed about this book was the descriptions of Singapore - it definitely makes me want to visit! The characters were rather annoying to me. Rachel just seemed rather naive, and Nick was cluelessly privileged. Very different from the movie, so I'm actually glad I saw it first. It definitely became more interesting the second half, so I'll still eventually read the second book in the series. Worth reading. 3.5 stars8/21

Just completed #14 (nonfiction published this year) - Furious Hours: Murder, Fraud, and the Last Trial of Harper Lee by Casey Cep. Overall, this book was fascinating and incredibly well-written! I was riveted until the last 30 pages or so when the book, necessarily given the subject matter, got bogged down in Harper Lee's writer's block. But the remainder of the book was enjoyable, tantalizing, and factual without being dry. I received this book as a free giveaway in exchange for my honest review. Definitely worth reading! 4.5 stars9/21

Just completed #11 (past love) - Rapunzel by Bernice Chardiet (re-read). One of my favorite books as a child! I actually found it on my shelf and had my name and the date (1989) scribbled inside. I remember reading this over and over on a long car trip with my grandparents. Such a nice revisit!10/21
