I really wouldn't know for sure, I'm afraid. I assume all the novels in the series are self-contained. Anyway, I'll change my nomination with Dark Entry which I've already read and I definitely know is independent from the following books in the series.

Which would you like to nominate, To Hold the Crown or Katharine, the Virgin Widow?

And with that I close nominations.

ETA: Jean Plaidy's To Hold the Crown is only one vote back.

Hopefully, there isn't a come from behind winner, as I just picked up a copy of Elizabeth's Women from the library.

We'll be discussing it here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... .

If it's in a series, can it be easily read as a stand-alone? If not, you might want to nominate the first book in the series, or the most recent book in it the group has not read together.
Can't remember what we've already read as a group? (Sometimes I can't, either.) There's a "group-reads" shelf on the group's Bookshelf.
Two nominations to a person, please.
