What book about the Tudors or Tudor England would you like to have as our Group Read in July 2019?

If it's in a series, can it be easily read as a stand-alone? If not, you might want to nominate the first book in the series, or the most recent book in it the group has not read together.

Can't remember what we've already read as a group? (Sometimes I can't, either.) There's a "group-reads" shelf on the group's Bookshelf.

Silent Court is the second book in the series. Can we easily follow it without having read the first book, which I believe is Dark Entry?

I really wouldn't know for sure, I'm afraid. I assume all the novels in the series are self-contained. Anyway, I'll change my nomination with Dark Entry which I've already read and I definitely know is independent from the following books in the series.

To Hold the Crown is OK - the only Jean Plaidy we've had as a Group Read so far is The Lady in the Tower.
