Chapter 5

I've read 7 chapters, but I'm just not feeling it right now. It's not bad or anything, but I was much more interested in the first book than I am so far in this second one. I'm thinking of reading some other books right now and coming back to this later. :D

I'm in chapter 4, and I agree with what you've said so far.

You can tell by some dropped hints that (view spoiler)[she would be a powerful ally for the Rebels in a government position. She has the right attitude and thought-processes, and the fact that she hates the idea means she would never be corrupt or abuse the power. (hide spoiler)]

Still a lot of book to go, but enjoying it immensely so far! :)

And I am done. Well that was an unexpected surprise. I can't wait to find out what happens next.

I did. More than book one.

I had some unexpected reading time yesterday and decided to power through one book instead of switching back and forth between many and this was the shortest on my TBR immediately list.

That's good. Ye I need to make reading time. I go on holiday next week so need a few of them read before I go.

Just finished chapter 5. (view spoiler)[ she keeps seeing people who have been through the testing and wondering what they did to get there. Does she not ever wonder how she got there? If she killed anyone? They are about to go on some induction test, wonder how this will play out :) (hide spoiler)]

Just finished chapter 9 (view spoiler)[ they are suspicious because she is getting on too well? They must have eyes and ears everywhere to know that is was not the rest of her team. Ian seems nice, is he working for the rebels? (hide spoiler)]

Just finished the book.

I had a lot of the same questions as you, Emma! It really was a good read. I liked how (view spoiler)[the induction was reminiscent of the Testing. I can't believe Michal died! I liked him. That was a good twist there at the end with the "rebellion." And I was wondering how Cia's brother would work his way back into the story! Their abrupt lack of goodbyes when she was selected and took his Transit Communicator was definitely foreshadowing his involvement later to me. Glad to see I wasn't proven wrong :) it's crazy how we never know who to trust. I'm still a little wary of Raffe, but I don't think he'll be another Will. (hide spoiler)]

How far did you get into it? I got to a point I am unsure of, not sure what to make of it.

I got only to chapter 7. But that was definitely more than 100 pages.

It just felt... like re reading the first book, with some differences. Though it was different, it felt the same. I don\t know how to explain it.. :D

Well if you do pick it up again I hope you enjoy it. I have not yet bought the third one. Probably will but not sure when.

I finally managed to finish it. Really good ending. Looking forward tot the next one. :)

Yes, the ending was the best part of the book. What are you rating it?

Probably a four, at one point I was struggling to carry on. Glad I did though :)
